The town CBD is OK. But Isimangaliso and council can really do better. Potholes everywhere, they had the whole year to prepare for their busiest month. In general, the town is run down!! Sunset Jetty is an absolute disgrace. Photo attached. Charters Creek needs work! The jetty next to the boatclub is a mess. The staff at security checkpoints needs proper training. Public servants.. not public dictators.

Beautiful viby town. Lots to do and see. Great restaurants. Hippos walking the streets was a real treat and beaches are safe and clean. Awesome weather. Boat cruise a must.

A clean, very small town. Major shops are spar and shoprite. Great views of wetlands, lake, ocean, thick forests, sand and rock beaches, and greenery. Animals and bird life in abundance. Crabs on the beaches. I was unfortunate to fall sick here on a saturday night. No hospital, doctors and clinic was closed. Could not get open pharmacy during the night. You might want to bring all you will need for your stay as there is not much variety.

The place St Lucia is great, it's beautiful and has tons of stunning African wildlife such as hippos, Crocs and more. Very beautiful town and lots to do and see

Fantastic place to go on holiday. Small town, beautiful beaches, the epiphany of Africa. Game reserve, white sandy beaches and magnificent sunsets.
