Paid RM9 for a cup of teh c, kopi, 1 slice of butter+kaya bread and 2 soft boiled eggs. The bread was very crispy. Soft boiled eggs texture was just right. Teh c has the right milky taste. Service was friendly and efficient. But the place was small and has limited seats.

I don't know how it can be famous in those website when recommended Mersing foods. This one i totally will ban it for reasons below
1. Bread is too hard and dry.
2. Owner is very rude.
3. Service is damn slow as only served by 2 people

The coffeeshop is authentic in the way it is run - probably not changed in 30 years including how the lady on the floor runs it. She has not been introduced to the modern device that helps calculate addition, thus causing her to be excruciatingly slow. We had to wait 20 minutes for her to serve customers, calculate the cost for many tables while the line just gets longer and longer.
Perhaps she's just happy the way it is, but they do keep you waiting.
The food is decent - standard local fare like nasi lemak, mee hoon, roti bakar, eggs but they do have pastries like egg tarts and apple pies which are quite nice.
If you're in a rush, head elsewhere. If you don't mind waiting for a table, waiting for service, waiting to pay, then here's a good place before you head to the Mersing jetty to go to the islands.
While you're waiting, you can check out the back lane, take a few selfies then go back to wait some more. There are nice murals there - probably drawn my customers as they waited for their turn...

Overrated. First time visited as high rate review in Google and other social media. Unfortunately, I had a disappointing dining experience with them. Despite there being a non-smoking sign in the restaurant, customers were smoking and the owner did not intervene. This made for an unpleasant atmosphere. Additionally, the lady (not sure staff or owner) attitude was quite poor and seemed to be lacking patience when it came to serving us and answering our questions. On the positive side, I found the food to be above average and the prices to be acceptable. However, the negative aspects of our visit made it difficult to enjoy our meal fully.

I ordered two egg tarts, and the taste was a bit sweet for me, but the egg tart’s pastry was crispy and soft at the same time. Then, the roti bakar was so good with a nice crispy outer and cham o hot. I didn’t know this shop had been open for 51 years.

Great Kopi Ais and interesting ambiance but that's all really. To old ladies are the only staff and they are too busy to listen to orders correctly and certainly too busy to prepare them correctly. If you dare to have the cheek to ask for what you actually ordered you will get the typical old lady bad attitude and if you're not Chinese you'll get cursed out too. I recommend you don't waste your time or money here, 30 minute wait for two over cooked eggs (hard boiled) and two nearly raw eggs. Our food was left uneaten and we went down the road to a different place instead. The kicker was the old men smoking underneath every no smoking sign.

This is one of the very few Chinese coffee shops in the small town of Mersing.
Serves good coffe although a little thin for some.
Toast is quite crispy but they really spread on the butter- there’s a thick slice in each toast.
Soft boiled eggs are ok, but the best is their nasi lemak- they are in small packs but really delicious.
Later in the day, they have pastries like kaya and curry puffs. These are a bit on the average side.
All 3 of our main races gather here for meals. Nice place to chill and the traffic is light.
