I’m a little surprised tonight. I normally LOVE their fried rice. Tonight, it is very different. It is bland. I drive very far to get this food. I am very unhappy.

Been a fan of this place for more than 20 years. Well I miss the adventure that was calling into place a delivery order, it is kind of nice to be able to order from an app and have it show up correct and on time. Nice old school dishes as well as sushi and a few new things here and there. Highly recommended... Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20

My go to neighborhood place for Chinese. They switched to carryout only during the pandemic and have never gone back to in person dining. Food is excellent and people are always friendly when picking up. Try the crispy beef. As good as at many fancier Chinese restaurants. I'm surprised at the 4 and 5 star reviews. If you look at my profile, I'm an easy man to please with Asian food. This had to be one of my worst experiences out of the several cities I've lived in. Our Singapore Mei Fun was bland (and that's my typical go to for every new Chinese restaurant). Our green beans were mush. Our wanton soup was literally so bad we spit it back out; the wantons were grainy and the soup smelled and tasted foul, like dirty pipe water. Even the fortune cookies were old and stale that we spit it out. The plain white rice was somehow the best part of the meal, and to be fair, the salmon roll and dumplings were decent. Either this was a bad day, or this is not a 5 or 4 star restaurant. Highly disappointed.

I ordered for delivery late night and food came fast. I ordered Singapore mei fun, and beef and scallops. The noodle was very good and I was able to substitute the pork for beef so that was great. Thank you for that. Although I was annoyed that the garnish/condiments I asked for were spilled when they arrived but at least it was in small packets so it didn’t spill all over. As for the beef and scallops... :( maybe it was my fault, I usually have a reservation about where I order from to satisfy my craving for seafood, and usually do so from restaurants that actually specialize in seafood. That way I don’t have to blame a restaurant for getting it wrong if that was not their specialty to begin with. In this case however, I figured since I saw good stars for sushi and was in the mood for some scallops, figured I’ll try it. That was a bad idea. The scallops were so rubbery and the beef was so slimy that I just could not take another bite. The beef especially was awful. I mean I can understand rubbery from being overcooked probably from just being reheated but the beef just indicated that maybe the dish was going bad. Additionally, I couldn’t even appreciate the good portion of the dish because it inappropriately came with a small side of rice to accompanying it. Service Delivery Meal type Dinner

We order from here consisently and it's always good. We order more sushi than Chinese food and it's always fresh and delicious. It won't be the best sushi you've ever had but there's very little good (or any) sushi to choose from in this area and Spring Garden is by far our favorite!

The sushi here is always High quality. Fresh and tasty! It compares with some of the best sushi restaurants in the Northwest DC/Bethesda area. Not as wide a variety is some of the best restaurants, but what they do serve is top-flight. You’ll be pleased.

We’ve been loyal customers of Spring Garden! From their old location to the new one, their food is always prepared fresh and the taste is just amazing! The flavors of their dish always complement the Jazmine or brown rice. Their sushi selection is to die for! They are also very generous to local schools! If I could give them more stars for food and their generosity , I would! They continued to serve the community during the pandemic! Kudos to this awesome place. A truly must ORDER place! 👌🏼🙏🏼❤️

Good selection and delicious. Get the California Hand Roll if you like crab! Nice staff and clean.. Great location for a quick detour off 495 for some sushi on Georgia Ave. without having to go all the way to downtown Silver Spring. Great selection of sushi and sashimi.
