My wife and I were excited to experience the sportsman bar that we’ve heard about. It was what we expected for the most part. Food and atmosphere decent - our server was actually delightful. But when the check came they charge this tax/fee line item that is 25% of subtotal. 9% is tax so 16% is up charge that goes to the business. This does a disservice to both the wait staff and customer. Just state upfront what the cost is and don’t blindside the customer. Doubt we will return given this tactic. Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

High hidden fees on top of already highly priced food. Go to beaver street or lumberyard Brewery or something for the same priced burger minus fees and get a better burger, nice atmosphere, good beer, with no hidden fee sketchiness going on. I’ve lived in flagstaff for 30 years and 20 near the hospital. I’ve been here now and then to meet a friend reluctantly for a drink. It’s dark and drab, usually lively, and the waitresses are hustling and friendly. The food is ok, but priced as high as nicer establishments. Recently I visited reluctantly with a friend to find hidden fees added to the bill. Yes, some is tax, but the rest is ... what exactly? Ask them about it and the waitresses get peeved and complain that their boss is adding these sketchy fees that customers always complain about and they are stuck dealing with the irate customer. The waiter tells the customer to read the back of the menu in small print where the owner explains the sketchy situation. Of course the owner mentions the customer should tip NORMALLY on top of the hidden fees lol. Really? Really? Waitress says if you pay cash you can reduce the mandatory fee by 15% (btw, cc fees are 5%). Now I should tip regularly? What is going on here? See attached picture. Pro tip to the owner, just be honest, eliminate your fees, set your food/bev to a higher price that you think you need to be sustainable and the customer will decide if it’s worth it. Maybe suggest not tipping. Sketchy fees are never a good idea. Its dishonest. You are hoping that drunk folks won't notice! Price per person $30–50 Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2
We walked down from the hospital for a quick lunch. We have all bee m here before for the night life, but it was a quick and tasty spot for lunch. The bartender was nice and very attentive. The Cobb salad was real good! Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Haven’t been here in years and then I ended up here a few days ago. Had a great time. Everyone is really nice. Full menu and lots of drink options. Just hard to get the attention is the bar tender. No complaints overall. Everyone talks about the wings here. This time I had the Patty Melt. Came out perfect. Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Chicken Wings

I live across the street so naturally I occasionally order take out from here. Every single time I have gotten food from here it's been very expensive and not yummy at all. I just now ordered a Philly wrap, who doesn't love a Philly? It tastes nothing like a Philly, it's is dry meat and peppers, if there is cheese I can't see or taste it. I took about 3 bites and have to throw the rest in the trash. It is the grossest sandwich I've ever had. I'm stuck eating tater tots only for lunch all for about 16.00 plus tip, and even those are soggy. :( Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

Happy we tried this joint out while n town for a long weekend. Not too large, w a great neighborhood vibe. The manager really helped us get all the games on various screens so we could really enjoy college game day. The wings were much better than many wing joints, the fried green beans were freakn awesome, and the homemade chili was also pretty tasty. Decent beer selection on tap, and they serve pitchers which is not always the case at some places. Service was helpful and friendly.

Love coming here to hang out and have some great wings and drinks! Every Wednesday is half price wings, you just have to purchase a drink. Such an AMAZING deal!! The wings taste great. I get a Chipotle/Hot blend flavor for mine. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Even if you don't like wings, everyday they run some kind of special so you can find something you like at a great price! Thank you Sportsman's Bar & Grill.
Stopped in for a bite to eat and watch the NHL and NBA playoff games. Took a seat and was quickly greeted. The service was great and we were well taken care of. There was a special on wings so I took advantage of that. They were a little tough on the outside, but otherwise were not too bad and good BBQ sauce. I didn't get a beer, but they looked to have a good selection and everyone else who ordered one didn't look disappointed.
Sportsman’s offered everything we were looking for. We needed a spot to catch World Cup coverage and some college football games while in town for the weekend. Great drinks, relaxed vibe with multiple tv screens. Paige; our bartender was friendly and prompt and the steak burgers!?! Wow so yummy. Can’t wait to come back again!
Watch out for “fees” which is a 13% surcharge that they don’t tell you about. An extra $10 that wasn’t tax added to my bill because the owner doesn’t want to pay his employees. The 6 of us aren’t going back Edit: the reply to the review says $1.66 was “fees” which means $8.34 was taxes. At 9.85% yeah okay dude impossible when my bill was $60. This goes to show you why the reviews lately have been the way they are. Please don’t waste your time.
