Great food and great service! They had just lost power before we got in so no working ac and no debit, but they did their best in keeping everybody comfortable as much as possible. Haven't eaten here in awhile. Service was outstanding. Used to be the best breakfast lunch place in town. Prices nearly doubled, and not impressed with what we got. Green Chile still good. Place was packed, I could have had a far superior meal across the street at black eye pea for about the same money. It's a tough economy. Didn't see senior pricing. This was the place we had our company meetings everyday 30 years ago. It rocked back then. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

Great classic diner, just off the highway -as a diner should be. Parking can be an issue because they are really popular Biscuits and gravy with hash browns and Chiles rellenos make for a great late breakfast. Great place to go for a really good breakfast or lunch. The food is outstanding, the prices are competitive and the service is World Class. Devinne is the best; she will take care of you and make you want to come back again and again! I highly recommend the Southwest Grill! Give it a try, you won't be sorry. Stopped for breakfast, and it was good and almost more than we could eat. Crystal kept my coffee cup and our water glasses full. I like the variety of ordinary breakfast and Mexican food selections also. This restaurant is a hard pass for people new to Pueblo. It may be perfectly fine for those who have lived here for 20 plus years. Whatever you do, do not order the Mexican food. There are so many better places to get Mexican food in Pueblo than at Southwest grill where the dry, tasteless rice and beans appear to be microwaved. The staff members are incredibly friendly and kind, but the surrounding area is quite dangerous and police circle the restaurant regularly. I've been there twice now accompanying an older family member and would not ever go there on my own despite the more than reasonable prices for food. I am mystified by the positive reviews. The music is loud. The service was just OK. The food was poor quality diner food. We were there for breakfast. The coffee had a weird taste but it could have been that the creamer was old, so I took a couple swallows and drank water instead. The eggs were undercooked but that can happen with over-easy. The pancakes were undercooked. The syrup tasted OK but it was weirdly stringy. The best part of the meal was that it was cheap. nice breakfast spot on Northside off highway 50 on the old frontage road. had the southwest chicken skillet with two over easy eggs and sourdough toast!! it was really good, the other plate was a relleno tamale skillet green chilli on the side, everything on that skillet was pretty meh, green chilli also not the greatest but still better than coors chilli so could of been worse.
