Our cycling group makes a regular stop here to refuel. I usually get a black coffee but everyone else goes for a cappuccino. The service is quick and efficient. Staff are friendly & helpful. They even help us refill our water bottles at no charge. 👍👍 It’s a nice spot to sit down for 10 minutes and get away from the cold. It’s generally quite busy here on the weekends. Nice gem in a plaza in Huntington. Plenty of parking in the plaza. I enjoyed walking in to this chic, quaint coffee shop. The cold brew coffee was excellent and they have a variety of breakfast pastries and entrees. The yogurt parfait was made with fresh blueberries, drizzled honey, and granola. Good service and just a gem of a place. Ideal for doing remote work or hanging out with some friends. Service Take out Meal type Breakfast Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Truly the best coffee on Long Island - I’ve tried many other coffee shops and nothing compares to Southdown. They are always consistent and the coffee is high quality. They also have a great selection of food - the breakfast sandwiches are always fresh and delicious! We are super fans of Southdown Coffee and we visit them once a month for a couple of bags of their beans when we run out of our supply at home. However, this was our first visit to this location in Huntington. The decor is bright and clean but a little narrow with limited seating compared to their location in Glen Cove, which is the best in our opinion & Oyster Bay. Our favorite blend is the Sure Shot, which is perfect for espresso machine and we bought 5 bags as our routine with 2 pastries: Chai Scone & Biscuits. We also had 2 cups of hot Latte with 2 pastries, Almond Croissant and Zucchini Bread to dine there. The coffee was great and served quickly. However, it took us almost 20 mins to receive our pastries, which needed to be heated up since the staff forgot about our orders. The pastries were delicious especially the Zucchini Bread, soft & puffer but the wait was disappointing. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $10–20
I did not drink any coffee here because I live a caffeine-free existence. I had the Polenta Cake, which was made with almond flour. That is good for people like me who are on low-glycemic index diets. I do not recommend the Avocado Toast. The kind of tomatoes placed on top did not suit the avocado. Perhaps cherry tomatoes would have worked. The sunflower seeds did bring out the flavor of the avocado. I liked that. The bottled watermelon juice was too expensive at $8 a bottle. I have seen cheaper juices at Whole Foods Market.

Loved the strawberry matcha drink here! I got a few pastries here like the chocolate chip cookie and almond croissant and loved both too! There’s only a few places to sit at a table so you have to get there at the right time when people leave. I do wish that the strawberry portion of the matcha drink could be mixed before it’s given to you because it was definitely hard to mix by hand with a straw. Excellent coffee and service every time. They're one of my two favorite roasters on the island. Their food is exquisite...I dream about the famous egg sandwich...a perfect balance of fat, acid, sweet, salt, contrasting textures, and amazing bread.
I love the coffee and the food here. I just tried an iced chai latte and it was sickly sweet I had to dump it out. It tasted very low end and not well balanced. Literally tasted like something I’d get at DD. I’ll still come back for the delicious coffee and the polenta cake. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5
