Pretty sure this isn’t normal. The person at the front was so rude that I didn’t even bother complaining and just went and bought a second dinner from somewhere else. Two out of the three meals I bought were burnt. Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20

Been here 2 times in the span of 4 months because of the experience I’ve had. First time I made my order and had to sit at the window and watch the night shift fix my order 3 times. This past experience early Thursday morning, I made my order the “manager” kept asking what I said so I spoke up a little so he could hear me and he makes a comment saying “you don’t have to talk down to me like that”. I pull up to the window asked the guy for the manager, he said he was the manager so I told him I wanted his bosses number and he told me to get TF out of his drive through and proceeded to threaten to fight me while standing outside and telling me to get out of my truck. Pulled in & used the app to order chili dog, chicken sandwich, onion rings, mozzarella sticks and 2 shakes. Took 32 minutes for the screen to say fits was 'on the way.' Then about 5 more nights to get out to the car. Got home (10m drive), onion rings were a burned mass, cheese sticks so over done that the cheese cooked out of holes in the sides. But, the sticks weren't totally empty, some gave you a mouthful of warm grease. Crispy chicken sandwich was soggy, hot dog edible. Food was so unpleasant it probably affected how we felt about the otherwise OK shakes. Sonic used to rock. This was such a disappointment. We were really excited about the food we'd ordered. Burned out on holiday food, my son and I wanted something different on Christmas afternoon. Looking for anything that may be open, we found Sonic packed! They were handling the crowd with ease (thats the impression that I got). Our food arrived within 5 minutes. Everything was fresh and prepared exactly as ordered. Ordered via the app. Arrived, checked in, waited, and waited some more. After 20 minutes of waiting I pushed the button and inquired about my order. I was told "we are waiting on your food." No kidding.... so am I! I waited another 10 minutes while my childrens' hunger started approaching meltdown status. I pushed the red button again just to be told "ugh..... let me check." At this point I demanded a refund and left. I'll add that during my 30 minute ordeal the drive through served multiple cars while we were obviously ignored. Shame on me for not learning from past experiences at this location. I will not make this mistake again. Service: 1

Ordered large chili cheese tots, extra chili and cheese. Got this. Decided not to spend my entire lunch break trying to get it fixed and just ate it. I'm used to a slight bitterness in a fast food fried potato product, the oil gets used a lot before it's tossed, but these were extremely strong with it. Really hard to get the taste out of your mouth. Not a happy camper with this Sonic today, though I've had some really good food here in the past. My Guy & I went to Sonic SKYLAND TUSCALOOSA around 8:30-8:40 ish last night. 1st things 1st I am a VEGETARIAN but my guy isn't.. Keep in mind I DON'T eat Sonic anymore because WELL there AREN'T many options for vegetarians. Also the few that they do have are almost ALWAYS cooked in DIRTY oil or given out OLD, 🗣️which is why I STOPPED going all together!.. Anywho My Guy wanted to grab a bite to eat before going home🤕. He ordered the number 16 breakfast toaster with sausage tater tots W/ a strawberry lemonade also ordered a 🗣️#SONIC burger. I ordered French toast sticks W/ tots.... All of that totaled up to be about $25.15 I think.. I would like to start off by saying it took at least 25 minutes to get our order... As we were sitting in the parking lot (STILL WAITING ON OUR FOOD) they turned the lights off.. I wasn't sure if the store was closing or what?! But I did notice that they were still taking orders & cars were still pulling into the drive thru. FINALLY we got our food, the carhop I was VERY SHORT & straight to the point also asked us when it came to giving us our change "Y'ALL GOOD??". We let her have the change because she kept asking Y'ALL GOOD😑. Honestly she seemed like she was HIGH on something & ready for more smh!. We opened the bag our food was lukewarm, two medium tots with the portion of a SMALL in each 🚫 fresh by the way, my French toast sticks have no syrup, the Sonic burger we ordered well we were given ⚠️☣️DEATH😵☠️ on a bun (Bacon cheeseburger) that had been BAKING under the heat wave for at least 🧐 8 WHOLE hrs!!!!!!. It was so old that the bacon look like it had begun to FUSE with the Patty of some sort🤢, the BUN & Patty was OLD, STIFF, COLD, the cheese was RIDICULOUSLY stuck to the Patty so much so that he couldn't even peel the damn Patty from the bread, not to mention the STENCH 😵‍💫of it😶😶‍🌫️ OMG, ohhhh and don't mention the NASTY AFTERTASTE from the French toast & tots with (no syrup). Literally the only-begotten thing that SEEMED to be cooked fresh was his breakfast toaster sausage sandwich. We went BACK to the restaurant to get a remake or a refund but NO ONE answered the speaker (keep in mind there we're still "WORKERS" inside & the parking lot & drive-thru was FULL of cars)!.. THE FOOD WAS SOOOOOOO BAD THAT WE HAD TO THROW AWAY THE ENTIRE ORDER #WasteOfMoney😡. Sonic (USED TO BE) one of the BEST franchises in the world back when I used to work there '90S & EARLY 2000s..
