This reminds me of home, the good old days. Best seafood I've had in years. The lemon butter sauce was perfect. All the items on the platter cooked very well - they definitely know how to deal with seafood. Service is perfectly on point not over the top but just enough to make you feel like you are the only person in the room. Ambience was lovely - they have a nice fire place to create a vibe of cozy on the chilly nights. A must do if you are choosing to stay in this lovely little beach town. Sevice is excellent, waiters have a great sense of humour. Food is magnificent, if there weren't so many people in the restaurant I would've licked my plate clean. Skafti lives up to the meaning of lunchbox, delivered on all levels. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Food is delicious, fresh and tasty. Portion sizes are larger than average and really worth the price. We had the Steak and Calamari Combo, and the Seafood Platter for 1 (which could be easily shared) the Jalapeno Bites (These aren't traditional Jalapeno Poppers) are not what we expected but still really delicious. We were absolutely blown away, the seafood combos were amazingly delicious, it was worth every cent. The portions were very generous and every bite was scrumptious. We will definitely be back, this is one of my new favourite seafood places. Seafood was so fresh, the fish was done to perfection and the calamari melted in our mouths, it was so tender. Local is definitely lekker. Best Fish & chips I have had in a long time. Service was good. Wine pricing on some of the Darling wines reasonable for a restaurant. Atmosphere is not greek!? The most delicious freshest seafood with an incredibly tasty homemade chilli sauce. Amazing comfortable ambiance and relaxed atmosphere. The restaurant is on the upper level with its own parking area - sometimes the Centre looks closed from street level but Skafti is open until 10. We decided to visit this restaurant based on the reviews and also given the fact that there are very limited restaurants in Yzerfontein. Food is quite average yet very pricy. To make things worse, we found a hair in the batter of the hake that we ordered. We alerted the waiter to this who did NOT DO ANYTHING about it. Wow !!!! We ordered a seafood platter for 2 . It was the best and freshest ever. Will be back for more soon. And what a nice place too. Well done Skafti team
