The restaurant isn't really big and seems crowded all the time. So, would definitely recommend to book a table in before heading there. The service is quick and friendly. The food was delicious and the seafood tasted very fresh as well. The fries had more salt than usual, but otherwise it was a great experience. Beautiful cozy interior, excellent selection of wines, absolutely delicious food. The chef accommodated my food intolerances so well, I was very impressed. The best part though was the service: very attentive, quick and personal. Especially Sarnar who made my solo dinner a very pleasant experience. I highly recommend this place! I have to say… this place was THEEE BEST MEAL I EVER HAD. I’m vegetarian, maybe my feedback is not to relevant but I really need to say that if my meal, as veggie option in a seafood restaurant was excellent, delicious, magic and unique… I can’t believe the other meals that this place has. I could add that my boyfriend had a fish soup as entrance and he wanted more of it from the first spoon to the last one. Excellent really delicious. The balance of the flavors, textures… I did feel that I was also eating fish somehow. And not so many places, where they have only 1 option for vegetarians achieve the experience that I had. I had lunch with a friend and ordered a ”Havets Wallenbergare” (Wallenbergare of the sea) with tomato and zucchini sauté, white wine sauce and parsley potatoes. It was great, perfect juicy fish patty, nice sauté and potatoes with a delicious white wine sauce for 159 SEK. Highly recommended. During our 3-day stay in Gothernburg we found this jewel thanks to a personal recommendation. Staff was really friendly and attentive. The mussels were at their point, the fish stew was superb and well seasoned and the sangria was a nice surprise. Definitely will pop by next time I visit Gothenburg! We had Sjobaren Fish Au Gratin and it tasted delicious and flavourful. The mashed potatoes was really good and we enjoyed the freshness of the cod fish. As it is a classic and a very Swedish dish, it is highly recommended. We also had the seafood soup that was really good as it is boiled with roasted seafood and tomatoes and made into a broth that burst with unique flavours. The service was excellent as the servers were attentive to our needs and was very friendly when we asked more about the food so we understand and appreciate what we were having. Thanks for a great hospitality. We enjoyed our Swedish food experience. Do come and try the various offerings in the menu. Highly recommended restaurant. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Very nice, upscale restaurant in the Haga district of Gothenburg. With the waterfront area under construction and a real letdown we were excited to find this neighborhood. The langostinos were out of this world, as was the shrimp and cod in a cream sauce with mashed potatoes. Definitely worth a visit!
