We enjoyed our dinner at Simaruba. My husband loved the Octopus and my chicken was very tender and moist. Delicious. This space makes for a Very Romantic evening as a date night or a trendy spot with a group of friends. Fresh new atmosphere with lights and greenery all around you and a tree in the center. Enjoy the view of the popular tourist walk and shops down below. Bathrooms are located on the ground floor. To enter the restaurant go to the back of the building 2 flights of stairs up. I had ordered crème brûlée and molten chocolate lava cake for dessert but they had ran out. 💜 Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $1,000+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I’m writing this as i am still waiting for my food after an hour, we received drinks and no appetizers. They offered a blanket because it is very cold and still haven't received it for over an hour. We have been told the food is coming 5 times. I will never come back here ever. The server wasnt overly friendly. Oysters were not good, sitting too long . Shrimp tacos over fried. Not much fish in crab tostada. Ceviche was very bland, minimal fish. Cheese board was okay , came with thin stale tasting bread. It honestly wasn’t even busy. They gave us two free desserts. Warm chocolate cake … delicious actually and crème brûlée which was super good too. The music was decent, I saw two heat lamps not being used which would have been nice since it was freeeeezing. In Cabo or San Jose the typical spots that apear nice can fail in the service and food category. Not the first time I’ve waited an hour or walked away. Had a lovely late lunch yesterday with great service. Aguachiles de camarones and some papas with truffle aioli. The space is on the second floor with lovely views of Centro and the tower hill. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Really poor experience here. Service was slow and inattentive. Dinner for three meant two had finished their meal before the last dish arrived. Also one steak ordered medium came blue. Más encantada no puedo estar, mi novio me llevó a conocer este lugar para una cena romántica y todo estuvo excelente, tienen un menú variado de coctéles y bebidas... nosotros elegimos el guacamole y los tuétanos de entrada.
