Was not that impressed to be honest. I ordered an avocado croissant and asked the waitress what’s in there and she responded “avocado and cheese”. When I got it, the croissant itself was quite sweet (but this didn’t surprise me as breads in general are sweet in the Philippines). The issue is that the actual avocado mash was also sweet. It’s like they prepared it with sugar or honey and it just tasted so off, I ate half and couldn’t keep going. (The dish was on the savory section of the menu by the way, not with the sweet stuff).
Also, the service is slow. We know it’s usual in the Philippines that they don’t tend to check on your table unless you raise your hand and call them, but in this case they were constantly busy. I don’t fault the staff for this at all, I just think they should hire a few more waiters/waitresses for a restaurant with two floors and so many tables that is completely full at peak hours. The waffles with banana and nutella were good, exactly what you would expect from it.
Great little spot! I’m always a bit apprehensive when I read about a place on every single travel blog, but this place lives up to its reputation. It’s just so lovely sitting upstairs with a coffee and watching life pass by. Good coffee too! And lovely staff!
We passed by to have lunch at this cafe.
2nd level was clean and quiet and they have a cute small dog running around too as you can see. Everyone here is very hospitable & friendly. They recommended the 2 dishes for us but we very much preferred the mango curry over the pasta. The mixed berry & avocado shakes were very refreshing too! Good place to sit around to chill while people watching :)
Very tasty coffee! The island has many good spots and this is one of them. I went on an early morning tour and this was a nice place to stop at. They were open early and made the drinks quick. Also had some of their bakery items that were good! Super cute aesthetic and very nice staff
Great place to lounge around, read a good book or just people watch. Delicious breakfast or lunch place, the coffee tasted just right got the Vietnamese coffee and Waffle with egg and sausage.
Looks as good as the reviews, taste even better. Great area to just relax overall.
Hands down my favorite cafe in Siargao. Not only are the service and drinks fantastic, but the hospitality and kindness are next to none. I left my sunglasses and upon returning hours later the staff returned the glasses no questions asked. Great drinks and even better people.
I have been here to try their coffee. I've tried flat white and it was really good. I like the ambiance as well although it is only a sight of the street with mostly tourists passing by😄. The live singing across this coffee shop is something that adds taste to staying here while sipping your coffee.
Great place and location since its bigger now compared to before. Coffee was good (local beans). Flat white was just too hot since I’m very particular when it comes to it but overall great service. Hope that the crew smiles more often (maybe stressed that morningg)☺️🤙🏽
I think the only thing going for them is the great beach vibe, second floor dining and good looking food.
However, the waffles are too soft. When I think of waffles, I think of crisp, otherwise I would've gotten a pancake. The omelet was a disappointment. Hardly anything there and it is more like an overcooked scrambled egg than anything. Iced Machiato is too sweet. Hardly anything good to say about the food. Unfortunately, the review options are about rooms and service and not the food. O well.
Food was great. Waffles are slightly crispy which i absolutely love. Egg was good and bacon was good. Americano was very good. Also ordered bacon silog and it was good. Free WiFi for customers also. Macchiato was good. 👍
