Ok, getting in & out of this parking lot in the am is a big NOPE. The service was great. I ordered 3 kolachis and 2 donuts 12.00$ ,ok no problem. Kolachi-They did not warm the kolachi's,the sausage is not ,,its a very cheap, bad tasting hot dog,the bread was tough and chewy, lacking in any flavor. So that's a no. Donuts - chocolate cake- very dry and crumbly but not in a good way. It's sweet not very chocolate forward at all. Filled chocolate -filling/ratio good, taste of filling is so/so, think canned pudding. So will I make the effort to stop for donuts here again,NO but if you absolutely have to- just get the plain glazed and be glad you got a donut , cause otherwise you can find waaay better than this place. #sorrynotsorry #shipleydonuts #dobetter Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

It's a great store with great food, but come on guys. Just get the order right. Cane in this morning and my order was half a dozen glazed donuts, half a dozen kolaches no cheese, 2 blueberry glaze, 2 bovarian filled, 2 plain cake glaze, with an additional 2 jalapeño and cheese kolache. After correcting a mistake in store and getting home, looking at the food, all 8 kolaches were just cheese and sausage, no jalapeño kolache, the plain cake wasnt glazed and the half dozen of kolache had cheese, which my step brother cannot eat now. Im not necessarily mad enough to go get my order replaced, but enough to leave a review stating that i am a bit upset with the service provided at this location. Hopefully they get things straightened up and dont mess up others orders. Meal type Breakfast Price per person $30–50 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
Shipley’s is great, a Houston original business. They never disappoint. Definitely one of my go to places for donuts and kolaches. Not much else to say except stop by if you’re in the mood for donuts.
Concerned why I continue to see what looks like mold on my donuts. Never seen these green spots on any other donuts anywhere else, only this Shipley location.
10/10 - I love donuts and kolaches and this is THE BEST place in the friendswood area to get them. I drive from pearland to get donuts and kolaches here if I'm ever in the mood - worth the trip. If the food wasn't worth driving here for, the customer service is. They are all super nice and has been run by the same people for probably 20+ years. Business got a new design layout and looks better than ever.
We had apple fritters, slightly overdone. But excellent flavor! Service Take out Meal type Other Price per person $1–10 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
Very kind employees and donuts tasted amazing
Pull into the new drive through at 5:10am after going to the donut shop around the corner and them not having donut holes. I pull to the new display and don’t get greeted open signs on and donuts are displayed in the lobby I pull to the window where two obnoxious signs read our hours 5am-2pm. Worker looks at me and turns his back to me and continues to make donuts I honk he jumps and continues to ignore me. I’ve decided this shipleys is probably the worst donut place in the area and dude started my day off like that. After reading a few reviews on here looks like this a continuous trend at this location.

Really great Kolaches and of course the original glazed donuts. And the lady that helped us was so nice, also.

Customer for long time, today not the greatest experience. The man preparing the food in the back wasn’t wearing any gloves. The glazed donuts were re-warmed from I guess yesterday. Thirty minutes after just opening there were only five kaloches.
