Outstanding atmosphere from the terrace of this quaint coffee shop. It is a multilevel restaurant with outstanding views of Nizwa fort from the terrace. Stopped by here after a visit to Nizwa Fort and filled up with delicious falafel wraps - in November '23. A definite destination the next time I am in Nizwa, Oman. I enjoyed talking with the man who served us, he was very kind and pleasant, and the food was fun. We ordered rugag with honey and cheese along with the mango smoothie and the lemon mint drink. But what was the best was the lovely view of the fort and Nizwa. Nice memories of that afternoon! Service Dine in Meal type Other Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The only good thing about this Café is the atmosphere and the views when you sit on the top floor. Other than that, rginhs are below normal, and there needs to be a serious reconsideration on how the place is managed. First, you need to order before you go up the stairs. If you don't find an empty table, then you are left with the option of sitting downstairs or just getting a takeaway. Second, the way tables and shades are placed is questionable. They put the chiller exactly in front of a table, so if you sit on that table, nothing will stay on your table and will fly away. There is no point putting a chiller in an open space. Third, the tables are super dirty, and there is no cleaning after the customers leave. Maybe cm isot it once, to see the space, but that's just it. Nice, small cafe to relax after visiting Nizwa Fort and soak up the atmosphere of the Souq. Service is friendly but a little slow. A great spot just around the corner from Nizwa Fort with a lovely rooftop seating area! Very affordable breakfast and snacks and delicious juices. Would highly recommend the Rugag Cheese Egg and Honey (but can imagine all the filling would be delicious), and the Fresh Lemon - Mint Juice! A nice cafe at the entrance of the souq. Can sit outside or upstairs on the roof top, either will give you a good view to people watch. Roof top has sun shade and lots of fans so a good place to rest. The prices are in line with the other cafes around. We visited this cafe for the first time about 10 years ago. It's certainly changed. The menu and facilities have all been improved. The staff were friendly and informative. The food options were great and the prices for such a tourist area were reasonable. There are many seating options from downstairs inside and out to an outside upstairs view of the Fort and Mosque. My only criticism is the use of single use plastics (juice cups, salad bowl, cutlery) However I have found this at many places around Oman. convenient little cafe at the surroundings of the souq area, they provide a very nice terrace on the first floor overlooking the fort and souq, service is a bit slow and it unfortunately takes a while to clean the tables for new customers, coffee unfortunately served in paper cups but coffee is good, prices are reasonable Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person OMR 1–2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5
