This restaurant is located in Alsmahniyah, a new tourist attraction. An old house about 170 years old is flipped to make a heritage mud-house themed restaurant. We came only for coffee and sweets. We had French toast. It was scrumptious. The host, Abdulmalik, is charismatic. He knows how to encourage people to try the restaurant. Will definitely come back again!

The food was tasty. Especially the Sharq salad and the هريستنا. About the machboos, it was normal and overpriced. And the value of the sauces with machboos is small. I was disappointed I liked the sauces with Haloumi cheese. The prices were cheap, we were 12 people and the total price was 760 SAR. The restroom was dirty and not clean at all, they should clean it for their customers. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person SAR 200+

Tried the kuwaiti chicken and it's good as it looks. Presentation of food is a plus especially biryani wherein the pot was enclosed with bread. And service by jeffrey is commendable too as he offered us tea after the sumptuous meal. It was a nice experience. I think the place is good. The ambiance is just right. The food is delicious and tasty. The filipino server is kind and accomodating. However, I felt uncomfortable that one of the staff keep looking at us and our table. It seems that he wants us to quickly finish our meal. Sometimes, people dine in a good restaurant to bond and have a conversation. That is why they did not dine in a fast food. This is basic etiquette. Everything is fine. They just need to treat customers as guests and be very careful that customers have differences & specific preferences.

My experience in this restaurant has mix feelings. I strongly loved the fresh bread, Hummas, and the grilled shrimp. I strongly disliked the lome mean and chicken tikka. The spices are very strong and there are many things wrong about then. However; there are many excuses given to a very crowded restaurant

Welcoming and friendly atmosphere.. Delicious food.. Should try its shrimp rice, ghouzi lahm n lamb kabsa, all r excellent. .. We wanted to try the hasawi rice but not available during our visit, unfortunately.. They also served us with complimentary tea.. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner

One of the most delicious arabic (Kuwaiti) food I had in my life. Everything they have is fresh and home made. I had Lamb majbos and Bryani for main course those were sooooo good. Service is excellent and very friendly staff.
