Ordered the prime rib special. $25+. It arrived on the well done side of cooked, after my having been assured that it would be "rare to medium rare". No biggie. It's a diner, not a steakhouse. But $25 is too much to pay for dog food. Alternative selection was a cheeseburger and fries. Fast, fresh, delicious. The wife had "loaded baked potato" soup. It was good. There were 3 other guests in a ~75 seat dining area. Two servers. Service out of the gate was primo. Marked down because our server went out on break and never came back. His replacement never came to our table, and we carried on with the last half hour of our meal with no drink refills or any dessert offerings. No check was proffered, so we went to the cash register with no record of what we'd had. We ordered pie to go. New help, they claimed. It was okay. In a pinch.
