I get a medium hot vanilla latte every morning at the 41st and sycamore location. Always costs $6.13. Went here today and was charged $8.31 for the same thing, and it tasted very bitter. The walk up drive thru is a great idea but terrible experience. We waited for around 7 minutes, no one talked to us or greeted us. Meanwhile 4 cars were able to be served fully, even though we had walked up and rung the bell well before them. While we were ignored. Additionally they do nothing to combat insects outside. Mainly wasps. Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Good service. Stopped to get 2 gift cards which totaled $30.00. When I got home noticed the receipt was for $36.00. In other words, the employee automatically added a $6.00 tip on to our tab and didn't tell us! That really upset me. Why not mention that to the customer. I don't think the employee deserved that large of a tip. Tips are for the customer to decide on not the business or employee. And I had just commented to the employee that I didn't like a coffee competitor had insisted customers give an employee a tip! Don't know if I will return to Scooters in the future. Poor Jefferson high schoolers who get hit with a large tip! Rethink your policy or at least tell the customer you are adding on a tip of that amount.

Being a new location Scooter's sent out a mailer coupon with some pretty hefty discounts. Check your mailbox they are worth checking out! One is half off of any drink! I got Chai with 4 pumps of Caramel. And a Bacon Burrito. Both were okay. And if I had one complaint it would be that both items had that new equipment taste to it. You know the one I am talking about? That taste after using a new waffle grill or a new air fryer? Well anyhoo, I am sure the aftertaste of green will fade and this store will have the same good rating of them all. But until then, I will pass on a revisit. Also, is it just me or does everyone hate being pressured for a tip at a DRIVE THRU? It's s a DRIVE THRU! Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 2

Always good service and not overly busy, low wait times if any wait at all. Staff seem friendly. Welcome addition to the west side. Meal type Breakfast Price per person $1–10
