We wanted to try something different in town as we normally just stick to the restaurants on 4th street when going out to eat. We were really excited to try the food and had heard the service was wonderful here. We had reservations and were seated right away then we just waited and waited for 13 minutes (we even said maybe we should just leave to each other) before our server came over, the table across from us that was just seated was greeted by their server at the same time as our server finally came over. I don’t know if it was a host issue or a server issue but we had just wished to hear “oh sorry for the wait we are so busy” but got nothing just a rushed what do you want and annoyance from Rosana. It was hands down the worse service at a seat down restaurant I can remember in years. The bartender did a wonderful job and made excellent Old Fashions! The food was great except for the calamari in the seafood fritto misto which was completely over cooked yet the shrimp and carrots were cooked perfectly. My husband said his chicken parm was perfect but the broccolini was slightly over cooked. The lobster ravioli was amazing but I was disappointed in the crab legs that came with it because of the review pictures online as it was not a full set but just the claw and one other leg. We never got any bread while watching other servers bring it to other tables. We had planned on having a few more rounds of drinks and dessert here but because of the extremely poor service we went to a different restaurant in town to continue the night. We did not want to continue having bad service and never want to return as the food was good and there is more here we would like to try. We will definitely come back but just hope not to get Rosana as our server again, so we can have a great experience like we saw other guests having. One of my favorite places in town. All pasta is handmade and amazing. Salmon was perfection and the tomatoes tasted so fresh in our appetizer. Service is always amazing and it feels very comfortable being here. Staff is always a delight to work with. Prices are very fair. Cozy atmosphere. We had reservations for 6 at 6 and they weren't prepared for seating as they had to bring another table to seat us. One in our group waited for 5 minutes to get a chair. Meatball appetizers along with cheesy garlic bread were very good. 3 in our group ordered lasagna and no one liked it as it was dry and the meat had an odd taste. Mushroom Ravioli and Spaghetti and meatballs were very good. Our server was friendly and pleasant however the service was slow. Could've been because it was a busy time. When we were asked if we wanted extra Parmesan cheese we were given a very small cup for entire table. We all agreed that we probably would not return. Nice atmosphere in this quaint establishment. I had the lasagna, which was very good. For appetizers we got the cheese garlic bread. What I didn’t like was them serving us the standard bread basket with our food order rather than when you sit down, right after you order drinks. First time here, I highly recommend. NJ native, very satisfied. Great service from Aidan, very attentive and friendly. The espresso martini was delicious. Meatball app, on point. Wifey had the salmon piccata which she really liked and I had the carbonara with chicken added. Looking forward to my next meal here. This place was great! I am not usually a frequenter of Italian restaurants but I am glad my wife and I went here for our anniversary. The food was fantastic and it was a great environment. The pasta has got to be home made. I love their bolognese but ventured and got gnocchi with creamy pesto topped with a glazed chicken breast — it was pure tantalization of the senses!! My beautiful dinner partner got the Fradiavola, simply amazing. The service was excellent with a nice cozy feel. Thank you for a wonderful dinner! Andrew was a phenomenal server on an insanely busy night. He clearly knew the menu well and guided us through a lovely Valentines Day dinner complete with a nicely muddled blackberry smash and red wine. The food was quick and just what we ordered, but we never felt rushed, always watched after without being invaded by constant questions. Great venue and atmosphere, feels authentic to what an Italian family in love with good food would do, not pretentious, focused on the food and the people. We will be back! The food was absolutely incredible, but the service was slow. We had a 6:45 reservation and were seated at 7:10. We ordered 30 minutes after being seated and were served our food over an hour later after we flagged down a waiter. The staff were very friendly and accommodating but seemed overwhelmed.
