I love their sukiyaki, not the sweet type but more to the savory note of the hot pot and it is suitable for consumption of two, adding another one or two ingredients are recommended as the base service size is just adequate. We had some sides as well, like yakitori and some grilled okra. The grills were tasty and scrumptious due to the limitation of our gastric capacity. We just stopped after having only one. They also offered us to have a tester of sake and plum wine on the house. The service is warm and detailed. Reservation is compulsory, and they will only text you the entrance code when the appointment time is near. Strongly recommend you all to try this hidden japanese Izakaya restaurant! The food were sooooooo goood! Staffs were friendly and helpful, especially the boss! Haha Look at the amount of bonito he added on our dish! For my opinion, these are the dishes you should definitely give it a try! 1. Sukiyaki - not the usual sweet based kind, it's more towards salty based, with a touch of alcohol to enhance the flavor of the soup base. It's a bomb! I kinda miss it tho haha 😆 2. Fried udon with clams - there's wok hei in the udon! We like it very much, the amount of clams given were generous too! 3. Tamago - idk how to describe, it's just unlike the usual ones, y'all definitely have to give it a try! 4. Rice - perfect combination! P/s: reservation is needed! Small shop but good vibes. Neighbourhood feeling shop. Choices are not much, but taste is great. Personal advice is good for 2 pax or a maximum of 4 pax. The bbq pork with rice and fried egg is a must try. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person RM 20–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Tamago

Homie style Japanese restaurant. Menu is limited. Tamago and yakitori are recommended. Okonomiyaki is not the usual pancake type. Side note, the kitchen crew vaping and cooking in the kitchen. This place is highly recommended. I didn't know a Japanese restaurant was here until it was a birthday venue to go to. The restaurant is located on the first floor, the area is rather dark and quiet at night. For ladies, best to be accompanied. The restaurant is small, also best to make a reservation. The kitchen is small, hence you need to be patient to enjoy good food. The owner, Harry is very friendly and patient. We tried quite a variety of food, they were generally all very good. Good to go in a group then you can order more to try. We had the sukiyaki, tamago, grilled pork, tofu, cheese corn, grilled beef, grilled scallop, clam soup, etc. Very good. All the food is highly recommended. The next time I come here, it will be with my family. Hidden gem in puchong. It is like walking into a food shop in japan. The menu is limited but the sukiyaki n fried tofu is a must try. Make reservation first as the table are limited. Visit for the experience. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person RM 20–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Sukiyaki
Reservation is highly recommended, although the nice boss will let you in also if they can. +2 The food is great here, it’s a bit slow because everything is made by order and they have very few staff. The tamago also very tasty as their signature dish. +1 the ambiance is also nice for izakaya feel. +2 the service from the staff and boss is really good, it made us feel like the Midnight Diner series customers.

Best dinner date I had in awhile. The food is deliciously good ( in my opinion ok ). Boss is super friendly as well , it’s a 1 man show ( boss does everything himself ) so don’t be hasty when coming here. You will be given a “password of the day” for the entrance after you made reservations. My husband and I really enjoyed the whole dinning experience , bonus points we got to sit by the kitchen window and see the boss himself in action. Definitely a 10/10 Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person RM 40–60

Hmm, interesting choice of location. There isn't a lot of food options on the menu, and it takes them awhile to serve the food, so maybe more suited if you're looking for a place to drink affordable sake than to have a proper meal. Kinda wish it would be a Midnight Diner sort of place but unfortunately it falls short. Gonna be a bit generous with the ratings since they seemed like genuine people, but tbh it doesn't really feel like proper restaurant yet. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner
