Loads of food variety in the buffet. Food is very good compared to places available around here. Side note: Washrooms are not clean.

Beware of scam!!! This is the same restaurant named “Kale Kade” in which we had a very terrible treatment by the owner. We were a couple eating in this place found in google maps after arriving to the bus station. We were told a price of 550 Sri Lankan basic buffet menu and up to 900 if we order from the other food bar. It was disappointing to realized all local people were paying 300 average for their food, we politely confronted the owner and ask to charge the fair price. He refused to do it and instead very cynical smiled at us and said that there are 2 prices, the local and the tourist price for the same food. Not matter what we asked, he didn’t mind to face us by saying he doesn’t care about the public reputation of his place for tourist. Because we were visitors, he wanted us to pay as twice as much no matter what. We had no choice but paying to avoid conflict but decided to share our bad experience online so other people don’t have to face the same situation. Don’t go there!!!

Buffet for lunch was pretty good. We had vegan dal veggies and different more or less spicy Curry’s. 300r is a fair deal! Would come here again!

One of best restaurant to have your meals in and around Embilipitiya. Food is excellent with reasonable price. Well experienced staff with good customer care service. You have more verity to select. Very economical but not sure that they have separate price for foreigners as review given by some of them. Ample parking avilable.
