I'm glad to hear you had a positive experience at Soloi Bar! The burgers were not only delicious, but the service was excellent too. This place is definitely worth recommending for food enthusiasts.

The homemade lemonade was like nectar from the gods after the walk up from Paul do Mar. Definitely recommend (the lemonade. Whether you do the walk in 36C heat as well is up to you!) Apologies to the friendly owners for the state of us.

Nice small restaurant not far from the Hotel Jardim Atlantico.
The owners Jeff and Anna are very nice and friendly people, you will feel immediately welcome.
We like to eat Espetada in this restaurant, also a large selection of fish dishes and smaller meals is offered.
We feel in Saloio Snack Bar very well.
I first wanted to eat something in the nearby hotel but the buffet looked terrible. Then on the way back saw this bar and went in. What awaited me then was the best choice! The still young and nice owner served me a Boerewors in bread. I regret not ordering two. It's not the last time I'll be here and then I order everything on the menu twice. Sometimes people run too far for good food, but at Saloio Bar you get soul food. 👍😄
We stopped there during our hike from Paul de Mar for some refreshment and drinks.
Lovely place and the owners are amazing people. Very cozy and friendly atmosphere.
For sure the place you need to visit if you are nearby!
We stayed in Prazeres and ate at 5 different places in the village, as well as plenty of other places outside the village. They are all good, but this is the place we went for a final bite to eat before returning to the UK. We loved it here, very friendly, and we felt very well looked after. I forget what it's called, but try the South African sausage, either with onions, eggs and chips, or in the form of a hot dog, with mustard, ketchup, onions, and loads of garlic, possibly the tastiest thing you'll eat for the next 10 years. Very slightly off the beaten track, but well worth the tiny detour by car or on foot.
This is one of the best places for having a tasty meal for little price! Don't forget to order the home made piri-piri Sauce, it is a must! And get some of the dried beaf sticks for your next walk. They are absolutely delicious!
Quaint! A mix of Portuguese and South Africa. Good service! Friendly owners. Great for a quick lunch or perhaps a home cooked esrly dinner of sausage, chips and egg if you're not in the mood for cooking. Would recommend.
