Finding an open restaurant on Freedom Day can a bit of a challenge. However, Sailorman was open for lunch and a good choice too. The restaurant has a smart modern interior and outside tables looking out on a little square. I had padron peppers, ibérico pork, pannacotta, a couple of glasses of wine and a coffee for 33 euros. Purists may complain about the firmness of the pannacotta, but overall everything was good if not quite fine dining. Meal type Lunch Price per person €30–35 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Amazing and delicious food. The portions are also ideal. The service was fast and good. One of the best meals I ever had. A must visit place :)

I had the octopus and it was tender and delicious. The vegetable was very well seasoned as well. I can also recommend the sangria. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €20–25

Best restaurant un Povoa! Amazing atmosphere, people are nice and the food is HOMEMADE and INCREDIBLE! Prices are more than ok, it’s the nicest place to recommend!! Thank you a lot for the great moment we spent yesterday

Food was good, service also excellent. Be prepared to pay for the bread and olive oil brought to your table before the meal without ordering it; this charge was probably mentioned somewhere in the menu, but if I need to scrutinize the menu for stealth charges then it is not a place I'd like to visit again.
