Probably one of the best sushi places we went to in our year in Portugal. Very fresh and awesome combination of tastes. And very affordable. Highly recommend!!
Just had one of the best Padthai in my life. Trust me, I'm from Thailand. It's actually better than some place in my country because how they don't put too much sugar and oil. Perfect for someone who wants pad Thai but still wanna watch their calorie intake. Many reviews say the people here are friendly and I can prove the fact. The only downside is how they open at noon otherwise I would definitely come here for some nice value sushi breakfast.
We didn't even have the food an hour, and it ended up in the garbage. The rice for the sushi had NO flavor, other than sweetness. It was overcooked and mushy. We tried one of each, hoping one would be good, but none were, so it was thrown away.
The pad thai had absolutely no taste. Pad thai has a pretty recognizable taste, but not theirs. As for the beef fried rice, it had lots of vegetables, but I had to add season to eat, to eat some. In the end, it went to the garbage like the rest.
A couple of years ago, this restaurant had a chef who really took pride in cooking. His food was GREAT. We ordered from them all the time, then he left. This was the 2nd ,and last time, we ordered from them since the chef left. The quality has gone down, and stayed down.
We visited because of the reviews here on GMaps but quickly understood that they were deceiving as the place recently changed management and thus other things changed as well.
As soon as we sat down we were given the dinner set menu as an option so we asked for the normal menu as well just to check but ended up getting the dinner set menu anyway.
To start off the food was ok however, we ordered Gyozas as starters and they brought us spring rolls, Miso soup was nice. Both the mains were ok as well but nothing special. The employee was really overbearing and we felt like we didn't have a relaxing time as she was constantly flying over our table, looking at our food ready to remove the plate as soon as the last grain of rice was eaten. They only had Lidl red fruit ice-cream, which we were not allowed to take home on a box(although it was part of the dinner meal). They didn't accept card as payment due to being "opened only two days ago".
Are you thinking about going to Sabores do Sushi? Don't think, just go...
Such a lovely decorated sushi with mind blowing taste. And Pad Thai, a Thai food was too amazing. Friendly environment with lovely people made my day. Great job. Keep it up guys. 👍
