This was an excellent experience, so much so this is my third time writing my review as the app keeps crashing but we want to say thank you. My wife and I went here for a mid day date. We had our reservation and we were able to be seated 15 minutes early. We had the barbecue shrimp and a chopped salad for appetizers. The sauce with the barbecue shrimp is heavenly. My wife and I loved it. We had the ribeye and New York strip for entree which were both cooked perfectly to our requests. Great environment with exceptionally kind staff. Had a perfectly cooked steak and several delicious sides for a wonderful dining experience overall. The waitstaff is friendly and accommodating as well as prompt. I highly recommend this location of the popular chain. Note that the atmosphere is lively (at least on the second level), so it may be difficult to hear at times. Try the gumbo and lobster voodoo! This was our 10 year Anniversary and they absolutely treated as such! The staff wished us a Happy Anniversary as soon as we walked in, the hosted spread red rose petals across our table as she seated us. Our waiter was Adam, he was phenomenal! He wished us Happy Anniversary right off the back, knew it was 10 years. He did it all from letting us borrow his lighter (ours got left in the truck with Valet), he cut our steak that we ordered to split, at the very end just when we thought we couldn't eat anymore he slid a couple spoons on our table. Came back with a beautifully designed plate with a cheesecake and and chocolate moose with Happy Anniversary written in Chocolate! We had a great time, fantastic dinner, great waiter, we weren't rushed. We were there for about 2 hours on a Friday night so it was pretty busy. We also ordered the Chilled Seafood Tower! It was amazing. We brought home leftovers! This is the 2nd time we've been there and will definitely go back again. We haven't had a bad experience yet! AMAZING!!!! Our server Kat was awesome! She gets 10 stars!!! She had great suggestions (Korean Salmon was DELICIOUS!!!!). I wish they put the mimosas in a bigger glass tho…for $13 a champagne flute feels like a rip off. Stuffed chicken only needed some salt. Will definitely go back ONLY if my server is Kat! What a horribly expensive disappointment! Went to this Chesterfield location to celebrate our 19th wedding anniversary. Believe it or not, this was the first time in 4 years that we've gone into a restaurant to eat a meal by ourselves between life, kids and the pandemic. We had been to the Clayton location many years ago and it was phenomenal, so I expected this experience to be the same. We decided on the Valentine's special. Both steaks (filet with shrimp) were meh. We've literally had better, more tender steaks at Texas Roadhouse for much, MUCH less. The caesar salad seemed a bit limp like it had maybe been mixed much earlier. The sides were tiny portions (I assume because of the "special") and were blah. My personal opinion is that mashed potatoes should be smooth unless they're the kind with the skins left on, which you expect to be kind of rustic. These just felt like someone didn't do their job and left the potatoes lumpy. The creamed spinach was flavorless. The flourless chocolate cake was really good, but we were surprised when we got only one piece to share. Maybe I missed that in the fine print on the special? When I'm going to a fine dining restaurant with a high price point (even if I get a special) I expect the quality of the food to be on par with the price and this was absolutely not. The service was acceptable and pretty impersonal, but in no way special. The hostess who greeted us said "Happy Anniversary" but there was no additional mention of the occasion or any extras on the table or dessert plate or anything. Whomp-whomp, disappointment of an experience to be sure. I left feeling a little sad when I had hoped to give my husband a special dinner to celebrate us. Save your money and go to Texas Roadhouse or Longhorn. At least if the food isn't fab you haven't spent an arm and a leg on it! 2023 Update: We live close and frequently go here for date nights or with friends. Food is always good, but the service has gotten quite snarky. We visited a few weeks back with my family of 7 for my daughter's 15 birthday. The server was inattentive and slow at best. I'd say even rude. We had to ask for water and drink refills repeatedly. My husband ordered a dirty martini with blue cheese olives (his favorite). They didn't have blue cheese olives this evening, and instead of asking my husband if he wanted to order something else (which he would have), they just brought a plain vodka martini. My husband drank it, but was slightly frustrated. When our meal was done we got our bill and noticed our server got our order wrong. Not only did she argue with us about what was ordered but then the manager argued with us. Mind you our bill was over $400 and all we were disputing was that I ordered a 6oz filet and not the 8oz filet that I was apparently served, didn't eat all of, and didn't want. This situation was very uncomfortable for my entire family. Never have I been in a "high end" restaraunt where the manager argued with me about what I ordered. Further, when the bill was originally brought out gratuity was not added. We routinely tip 20% or greater and would have this time as well, despite our experience as we realize the service industry relies on tips to pay their bills. After the manager argued with us, they took the drink my husband didn't order off the bill and added 18% gratuity. As you can imagine, we didn't waste any time paying the bill and leaving. Unfortunately, in our haste, i didn't realize my debit card was not returned to me. When we called the next morning it was no where to be found. This is always a pain, but the week of black Friday made it even more inconvenient because I had to cancel my card. All of this left a sour taste in our mouths.. not only will we try to avoid going back, but will encourage our friends to dine elsewhere as well. So unfortunate, as the venue really is lovely.. just so many other great steak dining options in the area where customers are respected, and we will plan to go elsewhere going forward. Had a wonderful dinner at the bar. Mark and Matt the bartenders were slammed but did a great job keeping our drinks refilled and provided great, friendly service. Really well done space. Trendy, cosmo feel. Upscale dining experience. Perfect for a date night. 2 indoor bars. 2 floors. 2 outdoor patios. The food was excellent. Filet mengion was cooked perfectly. Ceaser salad was delicious. Sides are Ala cart and portions are sufficiently large to share. Chocolate martini was yummy. Fabulous whiskey selection... they even have Pappy Vanwinkle available. Our food was absolutely delicious! Every drink, steak, and side was perfection. The service was horrendous. Our waiter did not great us or take our drink order for ten minutes. The drinks took another ten minutes to get here, even just sodas. The bread didn’t arrive until ten minutes after our steaks arrived. We were not impressed with the service at all and it almost ruined our experience. Every other time we’ve dined at Ruth’s Chris, we’ve had excellent service. The service tonight was a joke. Top Tier food & service. The pictures are from earlier this year but we have been back a few times since. If you are dinning in for a special occasion they put rose petals on your table making you feel extra special. Or going for a happy hour is so fun! The happy hour menu and deals are great.
