OMG! This place was rad! The food was clean and fresh, tasted great and presented well. The price was right and service exceptional. Ruben even came by and made sure everything went well. This place will be on my return list for food and fantastic service and atmosphere. I really loved this place! 👍 Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $200–300 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Sea Food Restaurant
Visited here on our vacation. The atmosphere is lively. Indoor and outdoor seating are available. The menu was in English and Spanish. I didn't realize my filet came with aushroom gravy, but it didn't ruin my meal. Lobsters are not all the same size but for $20 they were fantastic.
Not crowded at all, bar was nice with a big screen TV in front and center. The service was slow, but the drinks great. Margaritas on the rocks was perfectly tasty and the beers cold. The fish tacos were ok, except for the corn tortillas, the shrimp burrito was small and for what it's worth, they could give you more rice and beans on the side. I tried the Sunday brunch,The price of the buffet is $540 pesos. Includes only orange juice and coffee. If you care to have champagne, it's extra. There's tip jars at every station, which I thought tip is for a service? How is it a service when I'm actually getting up to go get my food. some attendants look at their tip jar when asking for certain servings ( grill). With the high price for this buffet, you would think the tip is included. The store bought deserts, the sludgy chocolate fountain, the artificial orange juice, and other low quality foods and ingredients, the price should actually be half of the buffet of $540 pesos, there are many misleading reviews that this restaurant is good, however everyone has a choice to use your funds wisely or carelessly. I will choose wisely and will NOT be returning to this establishment. ( Suggestions for outstanding Sunday brunches at lower prices at El canto in primo tapia, Marriott in tj, ortegas in rosarito. Pampas, churrascaria de Brazil in tj.) Service Dine in Meal type Brunch Price per person $500–600 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

I live in Rosarito and read some good reviews. Upon arrival, Restaurant signage said, "Steakhouse" So I ordered the small filet mignon. Portion size and sides were adequate. But, Very disappointed in the steak itself, especially with the place being a "Steakhouse". The filet was covered in mushroom gravy which I didn't see listed on the menu (I may have missed it). So, I scraped most of it off. The temperature of the filet was as ordered (medium), however the outer part was over cooked and charred (not typical for that cut of meat). Although the center of the steak was good, the outer part was tough, not tender (Maybe why it was smoothered in gravy). I understand, nor was I expecting something akin to Ruth Cris, but I have enjoyed filet mignon in other Rosarito restaurants that were much better, some of which were not a "Steakhouse". My girlfriend had the same meal, but she liked hers. Maybe I am just a filet mignon snob. Btw: Karaoke was going on outside in the patio area where the loud music and poor singing invaded the low key indoor atmosphere. Recommend they keep the door closed that separate the two areas. It might not have mattered because three drunk guys entered from the patio who were loud and irritating for several mins. No one from the staff interacted with them or told them to leave. They finally left on their own. Going to give the buffet a shot, but if the food is the same quality, I'll be dining elsewhere. Buffet price is $32.00 US dollars this doesn't include the mimosas, which is $5 extra! More food variety in lieu of the numerous "Tip Jars" scattered at each section of the buffet; expected tip. Artificial orange juice (not fresh squeeze like most restaurants in Mexico). Dessert options were cheesecake from Costco, Outside grill service attendant was based on the tip; NO tip, NO service; isn't it the other way around? The marlin tacos were not cooked throughly, gorditas and mole were good, chocolate fountain seriously needs replacing pumping what looked like crude oil and thank goodness they had entertainment🤦‍♀️. Not good for tableside ocean view or a good mexican breakfast; not worth the price for 🇲🇽 Service Dine in Meal type Brunch Price per person $500–600 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Rubens Sunday Brunch

My wife and I took a trip to Mexico to go on a day eating expedition. On our way to Puerto Nuevo, we spotted Ruben's and decided to give it a try. We took a look at the menu and found the prices to be extremely reasonable for what they were selling. The food is fresh and top-notch. The environment will remind you a little bit of the United States. You could tell a lot of the Gringos that live in and visit Mexico frequent this place. My wife had shrimp and octopus and I have the Beef Wellington. Both tasted amazing. Their soups are some of the best versions I have had as well. The clam chowder was buttery and delicious! The restaurant had a fun Buzz as the clients seem to enjoy themselves. We will definitely make it a point to visit them again next time we are in that part of Mexico. Meal type Dinner
You SCORED! IF YOU HAVE BEEN HERE BEFORE.., IF NOT THEN IT'S TIME TO GO OUT TO SCORE. SUNDAY BRUNCH IS WONDERFUL. MANY DIFFERENT ITEMS TO CHOOSE FROM MEXICAN FAVORITES PLUS BELGIAN WAFFLES MADE FRESH TO YOUR LIKING, TONS OF FRUITS, PAPAYA PINEAPPLE, SALADS, SOUP AND ALL YOU CAN DRINK MIMOSAS. IT'S ABOUT $23 I BELIEVE + YOU WILL EITHER BE TREATED WITH LIVE MEXICAN DANCERS OR KARAOKE OUTSIDE ON THE DECK WHICH IS BEAUTIFUL CUZ IT'S OVERLOOKING THE OCEAN. BARTENDERS ARE GREAT, SERVERS ARE EXCELLENT. REUBEN IS A GREAT PERSONALITY AND OWNER. EVERYONE IS SO NICE THERE. THE FOOD IS GOOD. ENDLESS MIMOSAS. I MEET SO MANY GOOD PEOPLE THERE WHEN I GO, ENJOYING THEMSELVES ON A SUNDAY. ~ THERE YOU HAVE IT. GO.. ENJOY!
Sunday brunch all you can drink mimosa for $17.00, ehat a great deal. Good music as well, awesome view of ocean.
