Royal Oaks Bar & Grill in Youngstown is a legendary dive bar with an amazing history. The atmosphere is laid back and the bartenders are friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. The real highlight of this place is the food. The signature raspberry BBQ sauce is made from scratch and is absolutely delicious. The wings and ribs are moist, tender, and have just the right amount of bark on them. The prices are also very reasonable. The throwaway prices for tally-boy PBR and Coors beers are a great bonus. The owners, JFK and Lou Kennedy, are full of personality and make sure to take care of their customers well. The occasional music and Wing Wednesday specials make it a great destination in Youngstown. It's not the prettiest place, but it's worth the visit for the food and atmosphere.
