Inside the mall, I can tell the cafe is with some history and must be famous.
Open at 10am, by the time it's already a queue at the door.
Very classic kiwi style cafe, situated on the upper floor get a decent view from the window.
Spending my last couple of hours in town before I flew back to Auckland.
I love it, and will be back again.

Staff were rude,left my friend and I standing while things were discussed about what I don't know. Didn't acknowledge we were there in front of them at all. No "sorry we won't be a moment" nothing. A table needed to be cleared and on asking was told "we're busy I'll get to it when I can" Come on Robert Harris tell your staff the customer is upmost.and for goodness sake train them to be courteous and smile. Last time I will go there.

Whenever we visit New Plymouth, we always enjoy a cup of coffee here. My wife likes her coffee and the view Robert Harris provides when you sit along the glass wall. The service is very prompt. On a sunny day, the view of the Tasman sea is awesome. The place is clean and the toilets are just outside of your right when you face Robert Harris.

Just wanting to thank the Robert Harris New Plymouth staff for amazing service they always do. Special thanks to Stella, for being lovely & showing personal interest to customers. She remembers our orders every time & gives us a lovely smile. It means a lot to us. Excellent personal relations skills. It makes us want to keep coming back. We come here often 1 to 3 times a week. Yummy salmon roulade & perfect coffee. Hard to beat. We wish we can have them everywhere we go as we travel a lot. No place like Robert Harris New Plymouth. Thank you Stella & thank you team.

Came here for brunch today for the eggs Bene. 10/10 for quality, value and services. Eggs were perfect and it looked stunning. The lady making coffees was observant and prompted the order taker to grab our son a takeaway cup for his half finished smoothie without us having to ask which we appreciate. Will definitely see us again :)
Incompetent staff, poore higiene. I've been told that the difference between a long black coffe and an americana coffe is....the shape of the cup.(!) Another customer ordered a decafeinated coffe and the waitress didn't know what that mean. I have order a long black , the coffe was good, the view is nice, but the staf make this brand a shame. I don t recommend this place with this unquilified staff.
