Had to go and see what happened to our coffee. Had finished eating well before it came. My club sandwich was delicious. Husband's scone was too dry. Lovely staff though Service Dine in Meal type Brunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Robert Harris Rolleston, a favourite of mine when I’m in town. Great atmosphere all around as you walk in. A wide range of food and drink to choose from and I guarantee everyone will find something they like. The staff were friendly and were easy to communicate with, also quick service. I ordered the Buttermilk Chicken and it was amazing, from the texture to the flavour. I give the food a 5. Overall, a great place to come for brunch or lunch when you are in Rolleston. A very good place for breakfast or brunch. Very popular among locals so sometimes a bit hard to grab a table. Standard menu. Friendly service. Love the deco as well. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast

I've been here a number of times and the guy at the counter [?owner] goes above and beyond. Absolutely amazing old fashioned service. He asks elderly if the have a gold card for discount and I even saw him serve a couple at their table as she was a little less mobile. He too the eftpos to them and sat with them while they ordered. My wife and I have been eating there once a month for the last 4 years.we were there on Monday at 9.10 for breakfast.Firstly I had to take my wife’s coffee up to the counter to get it topped up..There was no one looking after the diners.We then waited a good 10 -15 minutes for a waitress to organise taking our largely uneaten breakfasts with us.Again no one in site.We reluctantly left. We are pensioners with health problems so we expect much better service which we will be looking for at another Cafe . Definitely the best cafe in Rolleston I feel. A good choice of seating. Great warmly by a couple or more staff. Didn't have to wait long to be served. Great food and drinks selection. I ordered a Large extra hot Chai Latte and a gourmet sausage roll. It Didn't take long for my order. Chai tasted beautiful and was xtra hot. Roll was nicely warmed through with a side of greens and relish. Read the free in-store morning paper. Not too noisy. Was able to receive a phone call and hear the conversation. I noticed some men having a business meeting easily hearing each other. Definitely will recommend this place. Will I be back? You better believe it. Thanks staff for everything. Perfect.

Love the kids corner with all the books and chalk board. Good variety in the menu, excellent coffee, convenient location. The big breakfast was amazing, every ingredient was spot on and delicious!
