As you approach, you find a beautiful building with the most amazing view over the Breede River. The menu is reasonably priced and there is a good variety of dishes to choose from. However, there was almost a somber atmosphere, with no music, and everything being so quiet that you can hear what the table next to you is talking about. The food was amazing! Really well prepared and tasty, but there was no napkins or wipes in sight (usually standard with ribs). The most shocking was when it was time to pay. It seems that the waiting staff do not receive any gratuity when it is paid by card, so please tip with cash. One of the most beautiful views for any restaurant in South Africa. Varied, delicious menu, reasonable priced and friendly staff. There is a play area outside for the kids. Great tasting food at affordable prices with probably the best River views around. Don't expect too much in terms of service (you are on holiday after all) but can guarantee you the food and friendliness makes up for it Service Dine in Meal type Dinner

Outstanding family restaurant on a beautiful farm just outside Witsand. Beautiful view. Excellent and friendly service. Choice of A la Carte or Buffet meals. We choose the buffet and found it to be the best home cooked "Boerekos" you can't ask for better! Highly recommended!

River Breeze is a decent restaurant with a fine selection on the menu. We had a meal there on two occasions during our holiday in Witsand. The sevice, large portions of food, atmosphere and scenery/view was absolutely stunning. I will reccommend them above all others in the area as we have tried them all.

A beautiful place desperately in need of a strong hand and lots of energy. Pre-set tables sport dusty wine glasses, greasy plates and dull cutlery. The decorations have not been cleaned in a year and the food is average at best. There was passion once but it is tired now. Arrived on this working farm with a grand building hosting Marsannes Restaurant - perched on the Breede Rivers bank - overlooking the river that flows into the Witsand’s Indian Ocean. Stunning east coast hospitality from manager and both owners! The food was incredible - tasty and well-priced. This family will return soon. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person R 500+
