Nice air-cond restaurant with a clean and spread out layout suitable for functions and events. Attentive wait staff.
Food was pretty decent. Their signature river fish (patin), was fresh and had a sweetness to the taste - our portion was RM143. The lemon chicken had a suitable tanginess and was freshly fried and crispy. Salted egg squid was likewise freshly fried and coated in sufficient amount of salted egg. Their signature tofu in pumpkin sauce had a rather mild taste which is maybe more suited to plain rice. Overall food was not overly salty and I can vouch for no (or less) MSG as it triggers me to sweat a lot if present.

Another one of the Chinese restaurants in Kajang Town ( the only one )
This new owner just opened on last year before this was a another owner.
Well is a fully air-conditioning. Got 3 karaoke rooms with no minimum spending.
Atmosphere nice cos ady done some interior renovation. But the restaurant quite small and very fast fully booked ( especially during remembrance date ).
Parking here is free if dining in but very limited parking. If full, u have to go underground parking but need to paid.
The taste of the food here ok but very2 limited choice.
Prizes here a bit expensive ( maybe during CNY ).
Service here quite fast and efficient.

They have very good value for money for their set lunch, Monday to Friday. Set comes with free rice and Chinese tea. They are very generous with their servings, and is super delicious. If you can't find parking on the road level in front of the restaurant, go to their basement parking. Highly recommended.

Decent chinese restaurant which is reasonably priced. Lunch set meals are priced very competitively but only available during week days. Less crowded during dinner hence adding to the positives for dining here. The signature fried rice is very good. So are the fish sauce beehoon and fried wonton noodles. We normally take the signature tauhu which has really smooth tauhu and generous number of prawns. The calamari is also very good. They serve good salted steamed chicken as well but requires a pre order given time needed to prep. Selection of dessert is only the red bean paste soup and lotus paste pancake - generally, the old school chinese restaurant desserts. Chinese tea is also of good quality.
Price is not all expensive especially for an air conditioned chinese restaurant.

Poor service and server. The server said the fish cost RM20 per 200 gram however in the bill it cost RM25 per 200 gram. It costs an extra RM75 for us and the taste is not worth it. They even forget to serve our fish out after one and a half hour.
We ordered Claypot tofu and it doesn't serve in a Claypot. The server gave an excuse that Claypot is already finished however we saw at least 6 Claypots served out after that.
Overall the server lied plenty of time to us and we had a bad experience with it. The taste isn't worth that price.

Shuang Xi Lou Restaurant is located at Ground Floor of Wisma MKH, Bandar Kajang which is beside RHR Hotel (formerly known as Prescott Hotel). This restaurant has plenty of parking spaces in front but mostly filled, basement parking are also available. The basement parking entrance is just beside Dr. Karim Clinic (Klinik Dr. Karim).
As we stayed at RHR Hotel, we decided to have a quick lunch at this established chinese restaurant.
We ordered the Fried Hor Fun, Fried Potatoes Leaves in Sambal Belachan, Steamed Eggs with seafood and dessert is Red Bean paste which is the only dessert available.
As we walked in the restaurant during lunch time, there was a table of 3 customers only, we ordered the chinese tea (Pu Erh) which came immediately but food was served after 10 minutes.
The Fried Hor Fun is kind of soupy instead of thick gravy appearance and the taste was fair. Then came the Fried Potatoes Leaves with Sambal Belachan which is tender, mild in spiciness and a light belachan taste.
After awhile, came the Steamed Eggs with seafood which was soft and silky but the seafood content was limited, only few small shrimp, some cut squid and pieces of cut crab stick.
After our meal, we had our dessert Red Bean Paste which I found to be diluted (taste and appearance), too sweet and have an over powering orangy peel taste and aroma.
The meal was average in taste, standard portion but was slightly above average price for this kind of food standard.
Been here for 3 times and 1 word that I could describe this restaurant "consistent". We ordered curry fish head and their curry is very well done. You gotta try their off the menu Dried Yellow Wine Chicken. Also, their Fried Pork Belly with Fermented Bean Sauce. Price is reasonable too.

Enjoy the old school 煮炒 restaurant with some authentic dish like salted egg fried squid. All dishes taste good and my elderly aunt and uncle approved it with taste and value!

Traditional Chinese recipes and fancy wedding dishes available here. Love the vegetables stir-fry with lotus bud, lotus roots and macadamia nuts. Fried yam ring with the kung pao chicken on top of fried bihun also served here.
I like the char siu fried rice as well. Spare ribs.
Oh and I like their steamed chicken, roast chicken and Yee Sang - ok next round Yee Sang 2023!
Private rooms available. I saw there’s TV - I wonder if karaoke is possible.
Other than tea, there’s soft drinks and fruit juice. Service is good. Food is fast.
