The recipe quite special. First trial on fry porridge, smells good & tastes good too. Tried their another specialty also, fish noodle which is nice, adequate portion n not pricy; squid meatball feel so so, abit tasteless. Boss friendly. Will come for second time to try their other signature dishes.

Located along the old Federal Route 1, on the outskirt of Sungai Siput town. This decades-old, family-run restuarant offers delicious home cook style dishes. We ordered steamed patin fish, claypot chicken, pak charm duck (boiled duck), stir fried paku vegetables, handmade fishballs and its special fish noodles. We were very happy with the freshness and taste of all the dishes served. The elderly proprietor was very friendly. Service was fast and we enjoyed our food in the air-conditioned section of the restaurant. The prices were very reasonable indeed. There were several types of live freshwater fish available for our selection. Definitely worth a visit if you are passing by this town.

Unique dishes on the menu at Fook Kee, an old brand name. Signature items to order include handmade fish noodles, Chinese poached duck, handmade fish balls, braised noodles, and fried porridge. Non-halal, with and without air-conditioned seating. Closed on alternate Mondays. Would recommend to those looking for something different from normal Chinese cooking.
