La Posada Rest and Tasca is one of those iconic places everyone talks about. It is a popular place for students, professors, and people associated with the University of Puerto Rico Mayagüez campus as well as the local community. Food, Service, and Ambiance are very appropriate to a diverse town like Mayagüez. Go visit. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Excellent food and service! I had steak and onions with beans and rice. The steak was delightfully tender and flavorful. The beans and rice were an excellent side dish. My companions had a meat and vegetable soup before their meals which smelled delicious. I definitely recommend this neighborhood restaurant.

The food was great, just like at home...that makes want to ask for seconds. The service was excellent.....not too many places like this in this side of the Island. 👍🏼👍🏼

Excellent service and, food; the owner was very welcoming; each plate that we tried was just absolutely delicious, I recommend this jewel with out any hesitation; it deserves more than 5 stars.

Excellent service. Decent food, but not exactly something that would make me say "wow!", except perhaps this one occasion when they had lion fish on menu.

Delicious food, great service, and will always feel welcomed. I have been a customer since 2001, so that tells you the quality of both the food, the service and the wine.

Plenty of parking across the street. Small quiant , European Spanish ambience, cozy. EXCELLENT MEALS. Not overpriced. 5 main meals and drinks less than 100$
