Kathi and me are from Austria and backpacking through Nicaragua. We just did a kayak tour with Mirador del Concepcion and were so impressed. Our guide, Willy, was good in English and explained to us Nicaraguan culture and nature. We got to know local environment and culture, making our tour very enjoyable. The wildlife sightings were a major highlight. We saw owls, a variety of birds, bats, and even sea turtles. It was an incredible experience. Probbably the best was watching the sunset from the kayak! For us it is a must-do for anyone visiting the area who wants to experience the natural beauty ofthis island.. Highly recommended!

Amazing little family owned spot on the beach, Gabriel the owner was very welcoming and friendly. Kayak rental was cheaper than any of the bigger companies nearby but most importantly this place is the closest kayak rental to the Istian river, only like 15 minutes paddle Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Cute little place with incredible food and cold beer! Highly recommend, we ate here every day of our stay in Ometepe and it was the best food we had in all our trips to Nicaragua. The fish soup is the best receipe on the island, it comes with the whole fish! So delicious! The place is amazing, this family are very nice and they also organize guided kayak tours to Isthiam river, which is a must do on Ometepe) Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Quite perfect scenery. Near to the lake for kayaking, super quiet spot for volcano view and sunset and very friendly, interested staff.
