À propos
After enjoying Museo Casa de Las Lagrimas o Casa Figueroa, go to this restaurant which is not far away. The menu of Mexican cuisine provides flavorsome dishes at Flor de La Vida. You can have nicely cooked monkfish, enchiladas and chili at this place. It's nice to try good beer, wine or Mojitos. According to the reviewers' opinions, waiters serve delicious cortado or great lemonade. Musicians perform live music in the evening. If you look through the visitors' comments, the staff is pleasant at this spot. Prompt service is something guests like here. Reasonable prices are what you are to pay for your meal. Most people say that the decor here is cute. The exotic ambiance will be a good addition to tasty food and great location of this restaurant. But google users haven't given Flor de La Vida a high rating.

The five floor walk-up is absolutely worth it! We had the Chile en Nogada and the Mole Roja Arrachara. Both were absolutely delicious 😋, and some of the best food we've ever had in Mexico or anywhere else for that matter. Highly recommend. Our server, Jesus, was attentive and very accommodating. The view from the roof deck was second to none in this most magical of Pueblo Magicos.
Our guide David brought us here, and it was amazing yes there is stairs to walk up but there worth it the view is amazing 🤩 and the food as well I had the mole Rosa which I have never heard of and it was amazing, the view well you can see I. The photo I could have stood there all day in fact we wanted to stay there instead of returning to our hotel in Mexico City. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $1–100
Wonderful service and delicious and fresh food —we came back here twice! It’s the restaurant with the green umbrellas —you can access it from the Square through a small jewelry shop in the middle of two larger buildings on the up hill side of the square.
Disappointing. Wonderful views but the food arrived to the table tepid. Mine (molcajete mixta) was tasty, but my wife's cordon bleu was dry and insepid, and came with what looked like tinned vegetables and undercooked oven chips, complete with two plastic packets of ketchup on the side of the plate. The white wine was warm too. Not cheap either.

Terrific view. I came for the iced coffee and a pee break and both lived up to the hype. Views are awesome! Kind staff.
My husband and I came here to have a cocktail and enjoy the amazing view. After going up 4 flights of stairs n being seated, we are told they can’t serve us alcoholic beverages (not even water) if we are not going to eat there! What! After asking the head waiter and looking like it was a huge deal, they sold us water, n 2 alcoholic beverages, the margarita was horrible! The view is amazing but really, we have to eat in order to drink, even water?
Restaurant with an amazing view and great variety of tasty dishes. This town looks such a nice place. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $200–300
Another average meal in a wonderful location with friendly service. The view fantastic, our waiter was charming but the food was average. Chicken was tough and overcooked, sauces were bland. Overall just standard tourist fare. Inexpensive though!
13 people sick. Do not eat here. We stopped off in the plaza and came here for lunch. Every person in our group of 13 has been sick. About 2 hours after eating here several rushed to the restrooms. The 5 people who ordered chicken all got classic cases of food poisoning about 6 hours later: Vomiting, high fever, etc. The rest of us have had lower intestinal issues for about 48 hours since eating here. The only thing I can think we all had in common was agua frescas. The view from the rooftop was incredible, but you should find another place to eat.
spectacular views of Taxco! right across from the plaza and st prisca
