Enjoyed their foods. Ordered fried salted egg Squid, steam prawn and Egg spinach. Wife was impressed with the dishes taste. Price was reasonable. Owner and Staffs were friendly and honest. She actually ask me to stop ordering too much dishes as their serving were quite big. A small restaurant. Be sure to go early as its get crowded after 7pm. Many local. Parking easy. One of my favorite Chinese restaurants in Kuantan. In my impression, the fried squid and tofu are very delicious. You can also eat Shanshui silky tofu pudding here. But the cooking fume system in the kitchen is connected to the ditch, so the smell of cooking fume will come out from the ditch, which slightly affects the eating experience. In the afternoon the restaurant is very cool with the natural wind. No card payments allowed. Overall this is a Chinese restaurant worth trying.

Food was 4/5 but is very pricey. Half chicken RM55, Salted fish pork RM55, Vege RM25, fish cutlet cost RM100 (majority fish bone, not the entire fish so very small portion…super pricey for this)…HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED as easily to find other good chu cha in Kuantan with the same amount of money. The food is sooooo good. Open and airy atmosphere as the restaurant is located right in the corner of the street. 2 of us ordered 1 fried rice (7rm) and garlic fried pork rice (10rm). Side dishes omelette, garlic fried vege, 1 fried pork. All are affordable price. At the beginning we thought the portion would be small because the price is cheap. Like the sour & spicy fish maw soup, sitiawan steam fish and vege. Red wine vermicelli rich with sesame oil taste, would prefer more intense wine and ginger taste. Value for money.
