Gisteravond hebben we hier met z'n drieën een gezellige avond doorgebracht. Het was niet druk, wat me enigszins verbaasde, want het is een sfeervolle plek met uitstekend eten voor een schappelijke prijs. In ons geval wel fijn, want we hadden een hoop bij te praten. Voorgerecht was eend, hoofdgerechten hertebiefstuk/tournedos, met een fijne "bite" in de groenten en een heerlijke fles Rioja. Aanrader! I had an awful experience at this restaurant that doesn’t make want to come again. The service is very poor. The staff hasn’t learnt any manners. After repeated mistakes like dropping the sauce and forgetting a main and also forgetting our drinks and more. They didn’t even have the decency to say sorry. The food was awful poor and tasteless the didn’t even serve what’s on the menu and after serving the food they supposedly claim they didn’t have the ingredients. When providing feeding they were quite defensive and didn’t try to fix the situation or apologize. I we are also still hungry after the underproportioned food. Though I come here to play golf as a member i wouldn’t have or recommend having dinner here anymore or to ANYONE!!! Maandag 25 september was de Sociëteit Amici Vini weer te gast bij Restaurant Dimpels. Na de wijnproeverij met door ons geselecteerde wijnen gingen wij aan tafel. Er was sfeervol gedekt en ook dat inspireerde de gasten tot geanimeerde gesprekken. Interessant was de kennismaking met de nieuwe Chef-kok Frank van den Berk. Hij verraste de gasten met een meer dan voortreffelijk 5-gangenmenu waarbij de gerechten prachtig in balans waren met door ons van tevoren aangeleverde wijnen. Complimenten!! De avond begon met een heerlijke Ceviche van makreel met een crème van mais, gekonfijte chili, een krokantje van sesam en olie van groene kruiden. Een geweldig gerecht bij de Luigi Bosca Sauvignon Blanc uit Argentinië. Van elk gerecht en elke wijn kunnen wij een enthousiaste beschrijving geven. Dat gaan we niet doen. Wij laten de foto's voor zich spreken. Team Dimpels, hartelijk dank voor het heerlijke eten en de enthousiaste, professionele aanpak van zowel de keukenbrigade als de bediening. Afgelopen zaterdag een hapje wezen eten. Deze keer besloten we om de “Chef’s menu te kiezen. Gewoon om ons eens te laten verrassen door de Chef. Nou dat hebben we geweten. Het was een dikke 10. Zo apart en heerlijk. Combinatie zo goed in mekaar gezet. Dat we daar heerlijk konden eten dat wisten we al maar dit overtrof echt alles. Voor ons een echte aanrader of eigenlijk gewoon een “ster” waardig menu. Dank je wel. Ook de bediening was top, ze hadden duidelijk overzicht en ze leggen je echt in de watten. Absolutely awesome! The menu varies along the year, but every dish comes in a good size, good food and really cheap for what it offers! Has a great view of the golf club, a nice bar with TV to enjoy. Believe or not, my preferred dish so far is the Cesar salad! But the beef dishes are also great!
