When we entered, the waiter aranged us to a very narrow seat, even though there is still much space, and she insisted that's the only option after we asked for a bigger place. After several minutes those seats were taken by two people after us. We ordered some meat. They're not bad but not deserve the price. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person kr 300–400

By Swedish standards, this place is superb when it comes to selection, decor, and atmosphere, recreating a British feel with a modern touch. Food is brilliant in both ends of the price range and the whiskies are plenty. I even found they had three variations of my favourite whisky (Octomore), which is a very rare find in Sweden. Highly recommended!

I was happily surprised. After some research, it appears to be one of the best place in town for diner. The atmosphere inside is warm and welcoming. And the chateaubriand I had was cooked as I asked, the sauce was decent. The cheese plate was also good but sadly the dessert was not homemade not fresh. It would benefit from an homemade pie or an uncomplicated dessert. Still a good choice in a city that doesn’t offer much.

Dalwhinnie has an enormous selection of Whisky and Brandy, it's amazing. They are also very very good at making great drinks. If I recall correctly the owner is a several times Swedish champion in making drinks. It is a place i highly recommend.

Can’t say enough things about this place. Food is fantastic and the service is second to none. They found us a table when fully booked on a busy night and gave us attentive, smiling service the whole time. Wish we were in Ostersünd longer so we could come here again! P.s. the potatoes are legendary and you can’t go wrong ordering a simple coffee with cream v

I can't say anything. It was great, fantastic :-) The service, the childfriendly service, the meal ( a very good cook). We were here today and had a short but wonderful time.

Generic stereotypical "fancy restaurant" as in pay for flight size meals and mediocre food. Bread was good tho. Edit/addendum to address owner's comment: This is definitely the right restaurant, the bread I had was garlic bread with my salad. While you also have a bar in your locale which makes the place quite noisy, the fact you've got a a waiting list to get in, and the prices for your flight sized meals match that of a stereotypical (if not aspiring to be-) "fancy restaurant"

Had Reindeer steak and it was great! Bartender kept staring at me like I stole his car. Otherwise great decor and atmosphere.

Good food, good service. An exxellent choice if you want to eat drink. The bartender and owner is one of swedens best.
