Very cute gallery and cafe combo! A fun space to enjoy a morning drink while out for a stroll. The shop has lots of beautiful jewellery and art pieces, baby clothes and toys, cards and books.

The original cafe I planned to visit had a power outage along with other cafes along the street, so I ended up here. Others may have too because it was super busy when I came. Not sure if this was specific to the cafe, but they offered butter with the cinnamon roll, which was odd and I declined. They did still serve it with butter but it was on the side. Tasted perfect without it. But I’m pretty sure there was butter in my iced latte and that was pretty weird.

The saying about doing one thing, and doing it well, is apt for the Red Café. What they do superbly is bagels. And with so many options, you'll never get bored. Team that with good coffee, a lovingly curated gallery of art and gorgeous creations, and you'll be replete.

Cute cafe serving a delicious variety of bagels. Great coffee. Friendly staff. Set around some cool art for sale.

Nice shop, ginger loaf/cake was delicious, but we had the worst flat whites we'd ever had at a Nelson cafe. Both were extremely bitter and tasted burnt, added 2 sugars and still couldn't get the bitter taste out of my mouth. Go for the art and cake not the coffee.
