Waitress was phenomenal! Food was excellent. I don't care for fish most of the time, but tried the wife's dinner and that was damned good fish.

Fried Catfish Dinner
Very yummy food!! The fried pickles are so crunchy and so so good! Their hushpuppies are the best I have ever eaten so crunchy on the outside and soft and fluffy on inside! The service was outstanding. Can't wait for next visit for more hushpuppies💖
Well my husband and i didn't dine in. We ordered to go and when I got there it was only 4people dining in so I was a little nervous about my food. Seafood restaurant and Saturday evening it's not crowded and I also looked at the reviews, but I'm the type to see for myself and everyone's experience is not going to be the same. I'm soo glad I still ordered my food because were on the road in the truck most of the time and we're so tired of the truck stop food. So Thanks to your cook and staff.!!! We really enjoyed every bite

Not a full nightly menu, only seafood.
Don’t expect to get butter with your hush puppies either, they don’t keep butter. No slice lemons for water, only lemon packs. Atmosphere great, waitress great. Kept checking on asking if we needed anything.

Soooooooo…..I was wondering why they were only opened 3 days out of the week. I was HOPING it was because the food was so good they packed in the people over the weekend. Well, unfortunately, it is because the prices are absolutely insane for the quality, but most importantly, the amount of food for the dollar. I should have been suspicious when we pulled up Friday afternoon and there was room to park. The service was great, the food was mediocre and the prices per portion were disgraceful. We could have visited NUMEROUS restaurants in the New Orleans area and got more and better food for the same price or a few dollars more. I hate doing these kind of reviews, BUT I have to keep it real. We won’t be returning and hope that this gets the owners thinking a little bit. Mind you, I have owned a food truck, catering and brick and motor building in Wisconsin and we had better pricing and product. And I sourced it all from Louisiana as this is where I am from. Sorry but not so sorry Rayner’s, this is a result of greediness in my opinion. Best of luck in the future but I would rethink my portions or pricing. If you go there it’s on you. But I warned you.

It was good. Bone in catfish was a little small didn't get much meat off of it.. We will order the catfish strips next time. Didn't like that we had to pay extra $3 to share a platter. Just for a small plate to put my stuff on it. A little pricey.

Hamburger Steak
I've passed this place many times and never stopped by. I was celebrating my fiancé birthday with him, and he suggested this place. He said they were great. And my ole my he didn't lie. The food was wonderful. I had oysters and shrimp. He enjoyed the fish. I knew the Hushpuppies and corn bread had to be great considering there was a sign telling how much it was to purchase their batter. The staff was great. 10 out of 10, I do recommend.
