Love this market! Everything looks so good! Their meats are gorgeous! Seafood section is great! Nice deli with very good food! It’s a bit pricey, but well worth it for what you’re getting. Very busy place; staff is very nice and helpful.
Today I spent almost 3 hours just looking at each and every item in Vegetables, Dairy, Poultry & Alcohol sections. Below are my observations. 1. Ambience and Lighting: Rastelli is overall good. But not as good as Wegmans. IMO, Wegmans uses warmer lighting. That kind of gives you a real market feeling. Something like Reading market Philadelphia 2. Range: The Wegmans veggie section is huge and has more variety of veggies than Rastelli. 3. Freshness: Both Wegmans and Rastelli score excellent on freshness of veggies. On one particular item - beets, Rastelli was better than Wegmans in terms of freshness as well as quantity. 4. Local: Rastelli has some items, locally grown. Now that is impressive. See the fresh beans image below. 5. Price point: Now this is very important for me, as I purchase a lots of veggies. Cantaloupe (W=$3.49 each ; R=$4.29 each ), Honeydew melon(W=$5.79 each; R=$6.99 each), strawberries (W=$ 5.79 / 16 oz ; R=$ 9.99 / 16 oz), organic whole chicken (W=$ 3.89/ pound ; R=$ 3.99 / pound), FAGE 5% (W=$7.89 / 2 pounds ; R=$ 8.60 / 2 pounds). 6. Wegmans is open till midnight and Rastelli closes at 9. Thanks for reading Ananth

Rastelli market now owns perfect gourmet. I ordered the potstickers from Qvc. One order is four bags of 25. Hi placed an order of two that would be eight bags of 25. I received my first shipment and I only have four bags. I get a partial refund from Qvc I get my second order and I receive all eight bags I just received my third order and once again I received four bags I don’t understand. What’s the difficult about actually giving somebody their entire order it clearly states 100 potstickers per order that comes in for bags. Period yes I can call back and get things straightened out but I shouldn’t have to

A slightly more expensive version of Wegman with worse customer service. The food is good, but when you go to the counter to order, staff will ignore customers and serve other staff members instead. When this happened today at the sandwich counter, the worker just shrugged.
First time here, got a cupcake and carrot cake very good as always. Need to stop back this way again soon
I paid roughly 28$ for a soggy sandwich, and 2 steak tacos that were pretty much as tough as chuck roast. To add, my sandwich didn’t have mushrooms on it, and I paid extra to have them added. Also, I have extensive experience in food service (3 years as a grill cook and as a Service Manager) and I have never seen a group of individuals who abused food the way I saw these cooks treat food. One of the cooks picked a fry out of the basket to eat it, with his hands. He had gloves on, but you never use your hands to taste food in a kitchen, you use utensils to grab the food and then a small portion cup and fork to taste. Cooks are supposed to eat as they make food, tasting, making sure the recipe and flavor are correct, but as I waited for my order, the basket of fries was fried, left out in the basket for several minutes, and then was eaten out of. Doing this defeats the purpose of “made to order” food, and it is not food safe. There was also enough chips to feed a small horse, sitting out, and were not covered. At 4pm, this is typically after peak hours. This is a waste of product; I would not be surprised if these carried over into the next day and were passed off as “fresh.” To add further, I saw a container of popcorn chicken that was presumably frozen, sitting out, not being stored in the freezer. This is what is known as time temperature abuse. The chicken is supposed to be kept cold, not left out in the room to get “room temperature” and then to be re-frozen again. This place has really tipped off, I am officially done with this place. Go to Whole Foods instead.
The best local supermarket! Freshly cooked to go food and pizza! Great fresh seafood. Delicious fresh meats and great bakery! I just wish their produce selection was larger! They also have a liquor store within their store which makes it very convenient! If you like a quick cup of fresh coffee they have that. Oh and they have all the fresh coffee beans you could imagine! As a matter of fact my wife and I are here right now!
We had the same experience that Heather did with the deli counter. We came in at 8:05pm and we were ignored, while there were 2 people behind the counter and no signs or tickets saying they were closed. One guy was slicing and the other was closing shop. Mind you they were quite quitting at “their time” and decide after a certain time they are no longer acknowledging or servicing store customers despite the store closing at 9pm. Please hire people who want to service customers in the deli till 9pm and not at their time. Our order was simple too and required someone to scoop a side in a cup. How disappointing!!

Always loved the store and going there with family — until today because I am never stepping in the store ever again. Went there this evening to grab dinner and cupcakes for the family - something we really enjoy doing sometimes given we live close to the store. The guy at the bakery counter was someone who is not usually there. He was deeply unprofessional and lazy and not courteous at all: all the time he was preparing our order he was deeply glued to his phone and took 15 minutes - yes, a total 15 minutes while I was standing right there with my toddler - to pack it, while the usual guy typically takes a minute or two. To make it worse, after reaching home we saw the whole order was wrong, as he packed cupcakes different from what we actually ordered. It’s unacceptable for the fact why the management would even hire such lazy, useless professionals. I hope they never put that guy on the bakery counter ever again so that someone else’s evening doesn’t get ruined.
