Had dinner here. Food not too bad but ended with spoilt watermelon served. They changed for us after we told them

My wife and I are back in Kuantan again for Chinese New Year. My wife’s family went for a Chinese New Year set dinner at Megaview Hotel. As I had a great dining experience there 2 months back, the anticipation was high and they did not disappoint.
The CNY set dinner was the best I had eaten after having had CNY set dinners at other restaurants for the past 3 nights. The food here was fresh and the quality was excellent both in terms of taste and presentation. The dishes were innovative, not the usual same boring old stuff dished out yearly by other restaurants. And the service staff was outstanding in making this a truly memorable evening.
In the past, when we think of eating out in Kuantan, we would rarely consider Megaview. However, it has now become our place of choice whenever we are in town.
