We dine at Quincy's at least once a month. Love the food, waitstaff, and atmosphere. I only gave food 4 stars for this review because we had deep fried cod dinners on 1/19 and it was not very good. The fish was OK, but not the same as in past. Fries were chewy. Please go back to the cod and fries you had before. We went to the mine first and then we came here to eat afterwards. They are basically a museum and restaurant combined. Tons of old mining relics throughout the building. Turkey dinner! Better than Thanksgiving comes with all the fixing. Perfectly cooked turkey, light and dark meat, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, cranberry, and a roll. I've been to this restaurant several times, while visiting my son, at MTU. They have a nice variety of food and drinks, at a reasonable price. The food is pretty good and the wait staff is fast and friendly. The restaurant itself, is clean with warm, relaxed U.P. ambiance, that celebrates the area's mining history. Also, it's close to the airport so, whether you have just arrived or, are about to leave, it's a great place to get a bite to eat! 2 stars, reduced (16OC2021) from 5 stars a year ago (see below). We were seated quickly (at 6:15 pm, Saturday), the food was timely, but the service was not attentive at all. We never got our dinner rolls, we were never checked during the meal, and once done eating literally waited 20~25 minutes to get our bill and to-go box. Our server seemed to have just simply disappeared at times. The t-bone and whitefish dinners were fine otherwise, but to be honest we simply wished we had gone elsewhere fir a nice meal! 1 year ago: Good food, good atmosphere, and reasonable prices.

Great lunch spot in the UP. The burger 🍔, veggie sandwich 🥪 and French onion soup 🥣 were all great. The French fries 🍟 are great as well. There’s some neat copper mining ⛏ artifacts scattered around the restaurant and they have a cool copper replica of the old copper mine. If you’re into good bar food and some interesting UP history, this is a great place!

We were in town snowmobiling with friends and craving steak and prime rib. Really happy we went to Quincy's! We started with the potato skins and fried crab stuffed mushrooms which were both divine! Two of us got prime rib and the third got the 16oz t-bone. Prime rib was definitely the way to go. Flavorful and perfectly cooked, portions were huge. The steak was chewy and a little bland. Finished off our meals with chocolaty, gooey brownie sundaes. The server, Janine, was great! Her section was busy but she was on top of it! I took off one star because of a few odd things that didn't make this a perfect experience. There was a large amount of employees from the hostess to the bartender and other servers who were just standing around on their phones while this one hard working server was running around. Also, I ordered a whiskey neat and was very specific about this because the server asked if that meant with ice or not. Anyway, the bartender put ice in the glass. Not a big deal since we were seated near the bar and was able to tell the bartender no ice as he started pouring my whiskey over ice. The bartender seemed clueless for such a simple drink order. Still, we all had a great time and went back to our hotel satisfied.

Quincy's is our go to comfort food restaurant. Service has always been good. We lived off of Lower Point Mills road through the 1990s but had to leave in 2000 for work.
