The place is cute but food is meh. The noodle is too thick and has no meats, the rice meal is better with burdock ground pork and miso soup. The staffs are ok, not too rude as mentioned in other comments, just didn’t let me change my order after I changed my mind 2 minutes later. Good soup, and houtou noodles were cooked perfectly al-dente. Lots of fresh shitake mushrooms that had a very good flavour, and root vegetables were all very soft. All seating seemed to be in tatami, little inconsiderable for foreigners whose legs just don't bend that way. A little of the beaten track, would not have known about was it not for a tour bus.

Zero stars. Worse customer experience I’ve had at a restaurant. I stopped with my partner for lunch there on a tour, paid for a meal and as they couldn’t provide anything gluten free(totally ok - gluten free is difficult in Japan), I ate a muesli bar instead. When I left the owner made me take the museil bar wrapper !! Rudest service ! (And still took my $15 a meal that they didn’t provide) Do not spend money there and support these rude people Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person ¥1,000–2,000

Yummy food, but exceptionally rude & pushy staff. They better train own staff appropriately to protect the reputation of Japanese culture. Such a let down!!! I would give zero star if I could on Google.

河口湖から御坂みちにて一宮御坂方面に向かう途中に所在。多数の小上がり席に、広々したお座敷もあり、相当な人数が収容出来そう。釜飯とほうとうが美味しい。私は釜めし定食、連れはほうとうなべをオーダー。釜飯は鶏そぼろ、ウズラ卵、しいたけ、タケノコ、わらび、など具だくさんで、熱々のお釜からしゃもじでお茶碗によそっていただきました。いろんな具材の味がミックスされて、とても美味しい。連れのほうとうを盗み食い.笑こちらも沢山の具材が味噌で煮込まれて、良い味の汁にコシの有る平打ち麺との相性抜群。実はカボチャ嫌いの私ですが、ここのほうとう鍋は気にならないぐらい煮込まれており、個人的には大好きに。かぼちゃゴロゴロが好みの方には少し物足りないかもしれません。 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

ほうとうのイメージが変わりました。コシがあって、柔らかすぎず、味も美味しい！干し椎茸もこだわりのものを使っているそうです。店内も広く雰囲気も良いので、近くにあったら通いたいお店です。 Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
