It all depends on who works there at the time. I've had good coffee, nice and helpful staff that could tell me something more about the rums or cigars that they have. But that's just one guy from my experience that knows his stuff. One time we got a coffee stained spoon with a dessert and I had to tell the waitress that we ordered more than she charged me for, but last time was much worse. Last time we ordered an espresso and the acidity was comparable to pickles. I know acidic coffees but this was just undrinkable. We also bought cakes that were.... just ok and some cigars. The humidor looks good and the selection of cigars is actually not bad. (I think they are a bit old though) The problem is that the staff doesn't know much about them so they can't help you if its your first time smoking one. With my cigar I got a cheap, barely sharp enough cutter that had some glue on it and was still dirty from the last user and a lighter that was ok but they did not know how to refill it so they gave me a creme brulee torch instead (not ideal because it's really strong). That day I payed 55€ and they still charged me 3€ for the 2 espressos that we didn't finish. (and yes we said something)
TLDR: incompetent staff most of the time, a bit pricey
Poor selection of teas. Poor selection of cakes. Coffee was standard. Was never greatly impressed with this place. Had coffee multiple times. It was always just an OK sort of place. You could find much better for just a coffee and cake
My at least second visit of this place. The last visit was bit confusing , at first we took a coffee, was okey, but if you ask for espresso lungo, they bring you americano. Just to let you know, there is no menu on the table, so you have no idea, what are the prices. No additional service. Later we asked for a drinks - gin and tonic and i dont understand, why they brought gin with garnish in the glass and bottle of tonic separately ( they have paper on the table with some coctail offers, so i guess they will not bring you rum with mint and sugar in the glass and bottle of soda when you ask for a mojito). When we asked for another gin, they brought us another bottle of tonic (i would appreciate at least question if we need more), as we had still some tonic left in the bottle... Overall its average place.
