I should’ve known by the long line that there were going to be issues and problems, but tried it anyhow. Ordered a three piece dark hot box with mashed potatoes and gravy on the side. I was only in the drive-through for 28 minutes….. Needless to say $10 later to pull over to check my food and of course I had chicken tenders that were mild not what I ordered! Good thing I checked my order went back inside and had to wait another 10 minutes while an employee was chitchatting. What is up with this talk on your own time or in a break room not in the dining area please managers train your staff. I’ve come to the conclusion there is no longer fast food available. It is will get your food when we feel like it and if we don’t get your order right oh well. And my chicken was way overcooked. Needless to say, I am disappointed and really am coming to the realization. I’d rather go to the sit down restaurant, then deal with untrained staff food orders, that are wrong, and the headaches that come along with fast food. The workers were very nice, the food once ordered was a little wait but it was hot and fresh. Worth the wait. They also had a lot of Doordash orders so that was more the reason for the wait. I ordered 8 piece original chicken with Cajun rice it cost $ 23.32 well y'all went sky high on a 8piece not to mention how the rice was not fluffy like normal it was too watery and overly spiced . Yuk. They didn't ask if I wanted it mixed or dark , which I admit I forgot to say. The chicken was very greasy but crunchy I like it crunchy . Overall the crew was polite. I just disagree with my order this time. It was not very busy business hours so I got through like a breeze. I give 2 ⭐⭐ s I saved my receipt . I hope I have better luck next time. Should I go to a different location. ?

Worst Popeyes I’ve ever been to, definitely recommend making the drive to D’Iberville or Gulfport. How do I have to wait 40 minutes for an order I made 30 minutes before even showing up. The line wasn’t long, they just aren’t competent enough to make a couple chicken sandwiches and some fries. Went back in after receiving the wrong food after that long and they want to pick an attitude on top of it all. Much better customer service than I would typically expect from a Popeyes. On 9/08/23 the staff was very friendly and helpful and my meal was fantastic. There was also a fairly large group of special needs adults visiting and the staff was very accommodating. Good job guys. I got an extra wing per box. GOAT. Popeyes is seriously overpriced. So the extra wing was awesome. Lower your prices. You're a fast food restaurant, not a high class food joint.
