Dropped in when walking past today. Had a great experience with owner Matija. Knowledgeable, informative, nice glasses, and very reasonable prices. A much more enjoyable experience than yesterday at the Old Vine Store. Many thanks from New Zealand!

Geatest place in Slovenia to tase wine, champagin, bread, olive oil, and self roasted coffee. We've spent there a night to remember! The biggest advantage of this tiny place is his owner - Matija. His passion for life, good wine and openness to share it with other people are making this place unique and worth visiting. Going there will make your day (night) during your stay in Maribor ;)

Very well sorted wine bar with a great, hand-picked selection of local wines as well as Champagne. We spent a relaxing afternoon here after a walk in the park with our dogs and planned to come back later in the evening, however dinner ended a bit later than planned so we missed that chance :) Luckily we brought a few bottles back home to Vienna. Thank you for your great hospitality!

So we landed in Maribor and Just wanted a glass of wine before exploring the city. We ended up with quite a few more and a cheerful evening. Very gentle service and excellent wines. A place to return to!

Matija did the talking, the wine did the magic and I couldn't be more happier. When expertise, nice personal contact, great boutique taste and value for your money all come together - you must be in Polek.
