I live locally to the restaurant and ordered for to-go. I was greeted right when I walked in by the kid at the front desk. I’m guessing it was the owner who came from the back with huge smile on his face asked if I was Sean, said my order was just coming out of the oven. Had good vibes right off the bat from this place. The pizza was phenomenal, amazing caramelization on the crust all the way around but then the dough is super light on the inside. On top of that was a real good amount of cheese sausage & pepperoni they definitely get premium ingredients and don’t skimp on them. The flavor in these pies are insane, I also picked the vodka sauce instead of the regular sauce and oh man…. One of my favorite pies not just in the area but one of the best I’ve ever had. Although the pizza was quite tasty, the pizza was quite small for the price. Ordered 2 pizzas and it was not enough to feed 4 people. At that cost I could have ordered Lou’s with leftovers. I do love Detroit style, and again not knocking the quality or taste, but pricing and sizing was an issue for me.

Wow that was some amazing pizza.. First timers having pizza from Pizza Pushers. The pizza came out and it was smaller than we thought. Your definitely going to need more than two pizzas for 4 people. The pizza is thick, the crust is almost bread like but light. It has a amazing amount of cheese on it that is just delicious and the perfect amount of sauce. The crust was this delicious crispy browned cheese. We sat in the restaurant, they have some larger booths and some tables. They bring you the pizza but the dinner wear like plates, napkins and silverware you get on your own. The restaurant is very basic but just enough for a pizza place. People are picking up orders non stop so you know the food is good. We had the hell raiser it was the perfect amount of sweet and spicy. Wish you got more pizza for the price but it's worth it. Most Delicious Detroit style pizza I’ve had in a long time!! The crust is amazing and the ingredients are very flavorful. Very nice people that work there too! I’ll be going back again soon!!

First time trying. Just let me say, the pizza was delicious, staff were all very nice and the place was very clean. I really liked everything about this place. The only thing is the size of the pizza. I ordered a sausage pizza for $20. I went and picked it up and the guy handed me a square pizza box which was way smaller than I was expecting. I was waiting for a while to try Detroit style from Pizza Pushers but I must say that I was a little disappointed. Although the taste was good, I found the portion size small. I was told that the pizza serves two but it was a little bigger than personal pan size and was not sufficient for two of us. For comparable price, definitely bigger portion, maybe a little better taste of Detroit Style, there is a better option. Grabbed two Pizzas for carry out and we’re amazed by the food! Had the veggie and the Hellraiser and all four of us couldn’t stop exclaiming about how great the pizza tasted! I had the hellraiser and it was very good. Pepperoni was super tasty and the hot honey was a nice touch. Food was cooked quickly and was ready for pickup at the time they stated. This place is an amazing addition to downtown Algonquin! I’m a parlor pizza kinda person so I generally prefer thin crust. But after eating here, I’ve opened up a place in my heart for Detroit style pizza. The owner is a fabulous and friendly human that is obsessed with perfecting his pizza. This is more of a take out kinda meal but there is a small eat-in area if you prefer to dine in house. Don’t worry about the small size, a few pieces will go a long way.
