December 22, 2023 - We visited Pizza Payaa for the first time. The food, service and atmosphere exceeded any expectations. The entire meal was 5 Stars all around.
The motif was a unique blend of pizzeria, sports bar, and club. The tables, chairs and furnishings were both sleek and comfortable. The lighting created a warm and inviting atmosphere. The bar was quite appealing with a well stocked variety of adult beverages.
The staff was great, to a person. We were warmly greeted, seated immediately and provided with menus and personal recommendations. Throughout the meal the staff checked to see if we were satisfied or needed anything to make our meal pleasing.
The food was the best of all. The drinks, appetizer and pizza were out-of-this-world. Our shared starter was Parmesan and garlic Brussels sprouts. They were nicely charred and tasty. Our main course consisted of Fun Guy, Three Cheese With Basil Pepperoni and The Fig and The Pig pizzas. Each was pizza was delicious. The crust was magnificent. It was thick toasted crust, yet airy. My favorite was Fig and Pig. The drizzle of fig jam was a great enhancement to the flavor.
The entire family enjoyed the meal. We will return soon. I highly recommend Pizza Payaa.

Pepperoni Pizza
When they said this is the top rated pizza in BLONO, I don’t think I could disagree. Absolutely delicious Detroit style pizza with crispy cheese edges. Picture here is the Tammy, Fig and a Pig, and 4 cheese. The menu has got some unique creations as well as some more traditional type topping combinations. We had the best service and friendly attentive waitress. Family friendly atmosphere and nice upscale environment with plenty of seating both upstairs and down. Will be returning very soon!

Best gluten free crust I have ever had, and I have been gluten free for 10 years. Amazing vegan options, servers are helpful and knowledgeable. We are definitely coming back.

This is the best pizza in town and it's not even close. The crust is always cooked to perfection, they have a delicious rotation of specials, and the service is great. If you dine in or arrive early for a pick up, try the Basil Smash from the bar - it's so unique and flavorful. Their ranch is house-made and a must try. If the "Mortadella Man" special was made a permanent part of the menu I would have absolutely no notes 😂 Hoping they bring it back soon!

Really great food. We split an awesome salad, a special grilled cheese garlic bread, and a sweet heat pepperoni pizza. All fantastic! Great place for our toddler too. Very chill vibes.

We drive 45 minutes to get food at Pizza Payaa. While there are a lot of good pizzas in central Illinois, this is one of our favorites. The light crusted, deep pan is unique to this area. The sauce, cheese and toppings are also excellent and flavorful. They are frequently introducing new pizzas and collaborations with local businesses. We love that. Everything we have ordered from the rest of the menu is consistently good. Service is great and the building is a great concept for a modern pizza place.

Yum! IMO the honey is the secret here to absolutely mouthwatering pizza. I wish I had the time for a cocktail, but alas we were in a hurry. Next time.

The best pizza in town, period, and the wings are phenomenal! Great space, the bar staff is amazing (wait staff can be hit or miss), the manager is on top of his game, and the owners love for good food and quality service shows up everywhere.

Double Fried Chicken Wings
We had a huge pizza order, one was eaten there, the other to go. The food was timed perfectly, everything tasted superb even the beverages. The absolute best pizza ever. If you haven't been to the uptown location, I highly recommend it. It won't let me choose both. Dine in and take out, but that was what we did.
