Ordered chicken and brisket. I get it, chicken breast dries out but this was overly dry. Flavor was good but overall disappointing. If they’d do a combo of breast and thigh it would be better. The brisket was good but wish it wasn’t chopped up. Not my favorite bbq. Haven’t tried them all in town but so far prefer Blackhawk to Pitmaster. This is a quality barbecue joint that offers all the standards: ribs, pulled pork, brisket, and chicken. They also serve up breakfast burritos during the week, with the regular offerings of bacon or sausage, but also a brisket option. Their menu is rounded out with the typical side dishes, a variety of burgers, creative sandwiches, and idaho Nachos (think fries). They have been highly consistent with the quality of their food. I ordered a pound of brisket. I don't like BBQ sauce. They added it. Everywhere else I go and order it you don't have to say minus the BBQ sauce. I will know next time. However I think the brisket was very good. The Mac and Cheese was definitely smoke flavored. I also don't like smoke flavored. However it was not creamy it was more powdery like they used a powdered sauce or something. I can't wait to go back and try more things. Meat was very good. Onion rings were greasy (others have noted this - they need to let them hang in the basket for 30 seconds after cooking). Cornbread was a bit stale. It would be good to offer a choice (maybe garlic bread) as there was too much sweetness on the plate. Having lived just outside of St. Louis for six years, I can tell you that the BBQ is legit. As a avid BBQ consumer across this nation, I've never had the opportunity to sit down in Idaho, and enjoy BBQ. The meat is cooked to perfection. I will say this place is amazing, the baked beans are absolutely delicious, and the corn bread is sooooo good, it doubled as desert. Customer service is spectacular. Decided to try something new and I've always wanted to go here. I'm sad it took me this long to try it out. Now that I have I can honestly say that I've never had BBQ like this. I plan on going here as much as I can. Would like to try everything on the menu. Staff and cleanliness was spot on! Overall great place, would recommend to anyone. Would 12 out of 10 recommend trying this place to anyone who loves a good BBQ! This place has some great options, and the food is just delicious. I'd say go for The Baxter sandwich, it's got it all, and the onion rings are amazing! They get super busy at lunch and dinner so plan! But recommend to anyone and everyone. Awesome food and such a great place. We were there for a while just enjoying life and the food. If you like bbq you need to try this place out. The meat is amazing and so are the sides. Not sure what the best thing was but I’ll be back again! We had some good conversations with some of the employees and just felt welcomed. They didn’t make us feel rushed or anything like that. I probably ate enough food for a small village that night and have no regrets!

All I received was a styrofoam tray of disappointment. I ordered a 3 meat plate with chicken, brisket, pulled pork and mac and cheese. The brisket and chicken were cold and the mac tasted of chemicals. The pulled pork was the only thing that tasted decent but even that was luke warm at best. I'll almost always give a place a second chance but this is an exception. Service Delivery Price per person $30–50

Visited here from Virginia. It hit the spot! Legit BBQ and delicious sauces. As an added perk, the soda machine even had red cream soda! We met the owner briefly and she was very warm and friendly. Good service, good food, good place.
