We stumbled upon this restaurant when ready for lunch and it was the perfect spot. Atmosphere was adorable, servers were super nice and attentive and the food was very good. Food is regionally Oaxaca-style and so is the decor. Fresh made cocktails with lots of detail and attention. We even got some alcohol free version of some of the same drinks since we were driving and those were equally delicious. Tuna tostada and the fresh fish of the day were also a hit. Don’t miss the table-side guacamole. Not just a show, but also very fresh and delicious. Tried a few of their dishes, unfortunately their plates that had mole were on the bottom of our list. Their tamal was rubbery, dry, I think we got an old one. The ribeye taco with mole was just ok, meat was tender but there wasn't much flavor. What we did LOVE was their sopa de calabaza (butternut squash soup) and their ceviche en mole verde. Their cocktails were good too. Service Dine in Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Stopped by on a Sunday afternoon for drinks. The bartender was excellent and made a couple of solid cocktails for us after we told him our likes. Should try the food next time we visit. Paid around $22 USD for 2 drinks which seems reasonable.
Great food, ambiance, and personalized service. Had Tacos, chips and salsa with Molcajete Guacamole (making of it is an art) and traditional Margarita. Amazing. Meal type Dinner Price per person $500–600 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We travel extensively for work and stay all over North America trying the highest rated bars and restaurants we can find. We stayed nearby and wandered in one night for cocktails. The bartender and cocktails were on point, world class. Seriously, the woman should own her own bar, one of the best I have ever had the pleasure watching at a bar. The drinks were perfectly balanced and her passion was so obvious and infectious. Cannot say enough good things. The following day, after being so impressed by the bartender, we decided we should try the food because it would be a real treat if it was half as good as the cocktails. Sadly our bartender was not working, the cocktails were fine but not nearly as balanced or consistent. It was fine, but disappointing after the previous day. We ordered guacamole and asparagus to start. Both were good, but also not complicated dishes and nobody was reinventing the wheel. Then came the main entree. I ordered the ribeye with mole sauce. The mole was great, but the absolute worst steak I have had in the last year, overcooked from how I ordered it and a terrible cheap cut of meat. I told the waiter and he basically said "That's too bad" and took it away. No replacement offered, nothing. Then came the Octopus ceviche, the octopus was just absolutely rancid. Inedible. I literally spit it out neither of us would eat a single bite. Similar reaction from the waiter. The check comes out and we are charged full price for everything. We hardly touched those two entrees. Just glad the appetizers are fine so we didn't leave starving. I would not trust eating the food from this place. Go in for a cocktail, but don't expect the food to compare. If there is a woman bartending, you seriously are in for a real treat. She was the shining star of this establishment and worth the visit to the city let alone that restaurant. Drove from the Coronado area South of San Diego to the border, parked, walked across to Tijuana, took a taxi to Avenida Revolución and found this restaurant. Tacos were great. Restaurant was clean, multiple friendly staff. I had the shrimp/octopus tacos and a Bohemia Clara cerveza. Very good. Then took a taxi back to the border to walk across again. Mid week, so only had to wait 10 minutes at immigration. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner

I've been wanting to come here for a long time but the experience was it what I was expecting. This place is very very popular good place for ambience and people watching but the service is mediocre the food was definitely creative but often cold or not very tasty I ordered a lot of things there were a few plates that were awesome I think the octopus was very fresh tasting and the tortillas were on point . Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $1–100
Wow it's simply incredible! Everything I ordered was world class. And I'm a world traveler and foodie. The drinks were amazing, I even worked up the courage to try the crickets which are also so delicious! What an experience! By far the best dining experience I've had in Tijuana, better than Mision 19 and anything else, at a fraction of the price.
excellent service!! fair prices. great food . I do recomend the tlayudas de arrachera! their carajilos with mezcal are the best. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
