This is a really great spot to have some BBQ kebabs while taking in the serene beach view. Both the food and the service were excellent in terms of flavour. As a Turkish, I'm familiar with kebap and I can confidently state that this restaurant serves one of the best kebab I ate. The medium-cooked beef I always order is outstanding - it's tender, slightly juicy, and seasoned with a perfectly spice blend. Additionally, the sides accompanying the kebab are delightful. The BBQ potato, tomato, and onion with sumac on it are delicious. Moreover, the warmth and hospitality of the staff and owners significantly enhance the dining experience. My husband and I visited this place on our last day in Sri Lanka. Definitely 11/10 like that last reviewer mentioned. The beef kebab was incredible, cooked and seasoned to perfection. And the chicken as well. I love Persian food in general but this place was special. Even the hummus was good. I wish it came with two flatbreads instead of one (you get a generous amount of hummus), but you can always ask for more. The portions are perfect, 250 grams for the chicken and beef and [I believe] the lamb kebab is 200 grams, which is understandable since it tends to be a little heavier/fattier. And it's all halal for anyone wondering. We were full without worrying about leftovers and we definitely weren't looking to snack on anything after dinner. We made reservations (they make this a point, so make a reservation beforehand. They book up quickly and need time to properly prepare the food for the amount of people at one time). The owners were very responsive and respectful of our time. We actually came early and they even let us order/eat early. Bring cash! And an appetite. Pictures don't do this place enough justice - you need to come try it for yourself. Glad we went out of our way to come to this place. Thanks for the wonderful experience. Absolute gem of a place! Friendly staff, beautiful views and the best kebabs we've had in a long time. The beef was tender, the chicken juicy and the falafel bowl tasty and filling. Superb. 11/10. Used to live in Lanka during Covid, visited this place several times- never disappointed. Came back recently for some lunch and I am surprised how they keep the quality top notch. Falafels Bowl was great- simple and fresh. Loved fermented garlic peases. Lamb kebap was to die for. The meat soft and juicy, perfectly spiced and perfectly cooked. Chicken - was a bit too soury for my taste (perhaps too much citrus in the marinade) but with the rest of the ingredients and sides it was great. Meat was soft and cooked to perfection too. You’ll be surprised by the location. Best spot right in front of the moody Indian Ocean, with the romantic chansons in the background. Persian Kitchen doesn’t serve food - they serve heart full of love. And you should be enough stupid not to try it. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Lovely setting right beside the sea. Both separate and communal type tables available. The food we had was outstanding. My wife had the hummus and falafel bowl that she loved. I had the beef kebab and the beef was lovely and soft and cooked to perfection. Both dishes also came with a baked potato, flat bread and dips. Well worth the visit. Visited Persian Kitchen a few weeks ago! We got the their pulled beef hummus, lamb kofta kebabs and I think a grilled prawn. Their food was amazing! Loved every dish! The pulled beef was perfectly seasoned. Can’t stop thinking about it! The lamb kofta tasted amazing with their spicy sauce and their prawns were cooked perfectly! Can’t wait to be back!

Huge Six!!! Out the Park!! Simply delicious food... at a stunning location..... Best Beef Kebab in SL!! They ask you how you want it cooked too.... very rare for SL... got medium rare... and truly was a treat!!! So soft and tender the beef.... perfect!!! House made gingerbeer.... also nice.... Prawn Kebab was on special when we went and this too was delicious!! Highly recommended if they have it when you visit. Iranian Owners..... lovely... friendly people... with great service! Amazing kebabs, professionally made with attention to detail and presentation. It was delicious and tender, marinated to perfection. The setting is beautiful and the service very friendly and quick. The pickles, yoghurt with mint and cucumber, the accompanying garnishes are all just right to go with the kebab. Loved it!
